Yes, I do. I also try to always become a squad leader and issue as many needed orders (which Flag to take or defend), as many players tend not to use it properly.
I was happy when they released a patched that allowed you to become the new squad leader if the current one did not do an order after a squad member requests an order.

If you see your team taking an objective, put an order on it. If your team is doing nothing, just put an order on your spawn flag (if you still have it). You get way more points per game by throwing orders around. If you get into a squad with your mates you can use the orders more for directing your team, but if your playing solo just get those free points.

It depends on your controls and platform. On consoles/controllers, the basic controles would have you press and hold R1/RB (the Spot button), which brings up the "interaction" menu. You will then see Squad orders at the bottom, either "Request Order" or "Give order" (or something like that).

Look at any one of the objectives on the map, for example in Conquest A B C D E F G, and then spot the objective.
