Nightingale code after dowloading Dawning patch

I got this code and then tried what the internet said to do to fix said problem. Disconnect power cord for 5 mins, if that doesnt work delete game and reinstall. Didnt work. Have uninstalled and reinstalled 3 times, reset my router, made sure my NAT was open and still to no avail. I need help badly and any would be appreciated.

  • I keep getting this as well. Although if I keep trying to log back in it eventually works, though I'd really rather get it fixed

  • yeah, i literally cant play the dawning ever, by the time i get home, uninstall and reinstall, and get on, its about 10, and i kinda want to get some sleep. i swear bungie should add a F*cking extra week just for that. UUGGHH

  • This happened to me last night and I ended up clearing cache. DIDN'T WORK. I then restored licenses. DIDN'T WORK. Then I just re-installed the entire game. THAT WORKED. I played all last night. HOWEVER, I woke up this morning with NIGHTINGALE error again. Tried all of the above again, and it still won't work. WHAT THE HELL BUNGIE. I swear I'm so close to never playing this game again....

    • Having the same issue for the last 3 days. Tried everything known to help on the help page. Cleared cache, hard shutdown, changed DNS settings, Uninstalled and reinstalled, punched a wall, kicked a baby, stone cold stunned my TV.... Nothing seems to be working bungie. Please fix fast as I'm coming up with some new and inventive ways of dealing with my frustrations that are probably going to be unfortunate to the world around me..

      • I'm also getting constant nightingale errors. I've tried everything on the help page including a complete reinstall that took hours. I've restarted my router, Xbox, cleared cache, etc... I'm ready to scream.

      • If you can't reboot your router what I did was switch my lan to wifi then back to lan and it worked

        I finally rebooted the router last night after trying to log on for 8 hours. The reboot seemed to do the trick because I was able to get into the game again! Just tried logging again and getting the nightingale error code. Going to try the router reboot again and see if that helps. Eta: The router reboot didn't work this time. Restarted the console, that didn't work either. I'm clearing the cache right now, leaving the Xbox unplugged for 5 minutes. Welp, looks like I'm back to square one again. Nothing working and I refuse to uninstall and reinstall the game again. Hoping Bungie gets this fixed today!

            • I did a xbox update seemed to fix it. But when I logged off and came back about 2-3 hrs later i got the error code again. Bungie please fix this. Ive had this problem since yesterday.

            • BungieHelp has JUST updated their Twitter feed saying they are NOW looking into the Baboon and Nightingale errors......after a whole day they finally figured out there's some issues. Better late than never but good god.....

            • Turned off my router for 5 minutes, during which time my Xbox was hard shut down and unplugged. Plugged the router back in, waited a few minutes, plugged the Xbox in, and Destiny started.

              • Just happened to me again after getting it to finally work by doing all the crap everyone mentions here. I just kept trying to load and on fifth try it worked. Just keep trying.

                I'm getting it again today....did all the steps yesterday and than someone mentioned that there were Xbox Live Service issues...once those were fixed (by Xbox) it worked fine today Nightingale again..and Live is all green. WTF BUNGIE
