Not playing Rift
Nope nope nope, this will be the first IB I haven't done but I promised myself after the last time I'd never play rift again. Absolutely awful unbalanced laggy mode.
Edit 1: I am only posting this edit because that's what people seem to do when they get replies
Edit 2: some of you have very good points, w/l and rank no longer really matter so I could just do the bounties.

Just get a decent scout and call it a day. That's all I'm going to do. Not because it's IB rift, it's because I don't like IB in general. The gear is ugly, there is only 1 good weapon, and it's the one playlist with the highest potential for lag.

There's nothing to really get out of ib except the scout rifle. The armor is ugly. If any drop after matches they end up being used for infusion.

They have your money already after all. Don't get me wrong I understand your pain, it's I just don't see the point in posting about hating it with out atleast giving an idea on how to make it a little better for every one else. Know what I mean, I'll probably still troll you but know it's outta love. 😘

I would say I play once every two to three weeks but that is misleading. So instead I'll say this. I attempt to play every two to weeks. Yes, I attempt to because of how frustrating the game is. I will not be playing this week. It's not worth the headaches and frustration.

Rift is actually enjoyable the only time it is not enjoyable is when people don't work together as a team or play the objective. Bungie won't change ib just cause 3 out of ten people won't like playing and working together as a team if the rewards were placement based and not rng people would play and get stuck in more than just sit back and do nothing. I for one like rift has nothing to do with kd I just like objective gameplay.

There really isn't a reason to with the dawning coming out next week. If you want loot you'll get more and faster from SRL and it's not a game type where teammates can screw you over.

1 ReplyMy idea of a good time does not include joining other randoms in a game mode that don't play the objective against premade teams that do. Even with the easier bounty completion it does not take the frustration out of playing that mode. I will be sitting this one out as well. Why haven't we had Clash or Rumble as IB, it would make the most sense since most players are solo.

If you have half a brain (and RNGesus just outright hates you) you will man the hell up and get that Vendor IB Scout. You will endure EVERY red bar. You WILL die alot. YOU WILL WATCH A TEAMMATE WALK OFF THE MAP WITH THE DAMN SPARK AND LOSE ALL HOPE FOR HUMANITY.

3 RepliesI was going to sit this one out, but I have worked my way up to 395 light without the raid and 400 is in sight. Will give it a try and see what happens if games are lopsided may have to find something else to do until it's over. If the drop rate remains the same as the last 2 IB's really shouldn't take long to hit 400 win or lose.

Go to the recruitment and team up. It's almost impossible to lose as a fireteam of 6. Get involved, have fun, don't be put off by the fist minute of any game...... things settle down and you can go abuse the other team into a 10k deficit l
