Definitely a great question. It's basically a double edged sword. They're players that experience good, and bad days within the Crucible. So that being sad, bad players can put up crazy numbers, same goes for the good players. Good players can easily loose to a player not as skilled as they're. Or vise versa. One can argue that it boils down to a players experience that determines a 1v1 situation, but I wouldn't vest everything on a players experience. I do believe that the vast majority of the not so skilled players would improve while Queuing up with the higher skilled individuals. I partook in year one Crucible. I witnessed pub stomps. So I decided to watch how the better players moved, and how they engaged me. Therefore I improved. The best of players experience bad days. Just as the not so skilled players experience great days. A blind squirrel finds its nuts once in awhile.

  • But, you also need to remember that as you improve, you will also be matched with better players through SBMM. So, I hope the improvement continues.
