Independents and third party voters probably would have favored him much more over Trump.

6 RepliesIronically their corruption and rigging of the primaries might have cost them the general. How poignantly delicious.

1 ReplyYup. They fucked themselves.

Independents and third party voters probably would have favored him much more over Trump.
I doubt that. Liberals tend to believe the end justifies the means, as evidenced by the situation with Bernie and the DNC. This may have left a bad taste in people's mouths, but Bernie was too far out there to have done as well as Hillary, anyway, and the DNC knew it. The main reason Hillary lost was because she basically embodied much of what many Americans felt is wrong with this country. The American people haven't been happy with the direction we’ve been heading for quite a while now. The conservative majority had, however, been relatively silent and passive, while the liberals infiltrated our government, the media, our courts, our schools, and our lives, becoming more and more invasive, practically forcing acceptance of their liberal ideologies. Along came Trump and the establishment despised him, the media was against him, nearly all the celebrities were against him, and even many in Trump's own party were against him. They insulted and mocked him and his supporters at every turn. All of this combined to awaken the sleeping giant, so to speak. As Trump took them all on, he never changed, he never apologized, and he never did or said what we believed he should. His supporters had all but resigned themselves to accepting that the machine was unstoppable, that the result had already been decided, and that our voices meant nothing. Even the liberal media and all the celebrities seemed prepared for victory. How wrong we all were lol

I agree. Or any other defeat candidate, preferably a more moderate one. Both candidates were shit

The DNC and mainstream media can't see beyond the bubble they live in. Even after this embarrassing defeat they might not have learned anything.

69 RepliesBernie would have been destroyed in the General. Americans don't want universal healthcare, cheap/free college, livable minimum wages, etc.
-
As they should.
-
3 RepliesI always said that Bernie caused excitement on the democrat side the same way Trump did on ours. Anti-establishment won today.
-
They were. It was rigged for Hillary to win it. Nobody wanted her in the first place.
-
9 RepliesI voted for Johnson. Given the choice between Trump or Sanders, it would have been easily sanders
-
2 RepliesEdited by Britton: 11/10/2016 10:43:37 AMHis candidacy would have allowed some focus to be brought onto Trumps corruption and long list of scandals. I know Trump supporters who are blissfully unaware of any of them. In comparison they wouldve been night and day.

3 RepliesAre we conveniently forgetting that Bernie urged people to vote for Clinton?
-
Bread lines are good thing because the rich people dont get all the food.

9 RepliesBernie would have been worse. He would have had the stoners and college kids behind him. But Hilary just had a much larger fan base. PC culture was a ready for a female president. But I don't support either of them. #TrumpTrain #ComingThrough #LeavingLiberalsBehind #MakingAmericaGreatAgain #Re-ElectTrump2020 #DoneWithTheClintons #KeepTheClintonsOut #TearsOfJoy #HappyTrumpDay #ProudChristian #God'sWill #'Murica

The DNC -blam!-ed up every step of the way. Not to mention they seriously underestimated him. Now the Republican Party has full reign to undo everything Obama set in motion.
-
1 ReplyI wish it was Bernie instead of Hillary.
-
You think the democrats want to me labeled the socialist party? That's embarrassing
-
5 RepliesIn 2012 the RNC sabotaged Ron Paul's campaign in the primaries. Romney was fully endorsed. Romney lost. In 2016 the DNC sabotaged Bernie Sanders campaign. Hillary was fully endorsed. Hillary lost. Some folks just can't learn from other's mistakes.
-
There was no functional difference between the DNC and the Clinton campaign. It was rigged for HRC long before Bernie even entered the picture. The writing was on the wall as soon as she became SecState.
-
Bernie would've swept away with Trump much like he did with Hilary. The "blue wall" that Hilary spoke of would've went to Bernie easily
-
11 RepliesIf it had been Bernie, I doubt this would have been close at all (in Bernie's favor).
-
1 ReplyBernie states were Michigan and Wisconsin, oh how I love that those went to Trump.
-
No matter how you look at it: the DNC -blam!-ed up.
-
1 ReplyOnly difference would have been Sanders would have lost the popular vote as well.
-
Debbie Wasserman Schultz. Lol.
-
7 RepliesNo, only Socialists and welfare recipients favored Bernie. I still would have voted for Johnson.
