Sidearms are really effective but against really good shotgunners they will get beat every time

False statement. I always run sidearms in the crucible, even in trials. If you know how to play the angles properly and distance yourself from corners, the shotgunner doesn't stand a chance.

If sidearms are better than shotguns then why do you not see sidearms as the most used special? I'm sorry bro but against top tier players you will literally get shit on. Why do you never see people run sidearms in sweats? Because if you did you would get sauced 10/10 times.

Nope. I don't waste my time watching others play a game that I own. I also don't follow in another players footsteps like a sheep. I know what works for me and my play style, and believe me, it's working very well. ;)

I respect that but don't say that other weapons are better because they work for you in pubs lol you have never seen top tier players so you can't make assumptions on what's better

I never said sidearms are better. You, however, have stated that shotguns are better. You've given advice that you don't follow. How does watching someone else play a game give you a better understanding of the games mechanics, and more importantly, what weapons fit into your play style?

I've been maining shotguns since year one and have never left them, sniping does not fit my play style. Shotguns are better than sidearms, anyone that thinks otherwise obviously doesn't know what they're talking about. I've played sweats and it's not viable to use anything other than a shotgun, snipers are barely used now. Sweats are the opposite of what you call "mindless gameplay". If people are using shotguns all the time than you would think that someone would pull out a sidearm and wreck with it but the opposite happens, sidearms can't keep up against better players

How can you make a statement like that after everything else you've said? Shotguns work well for you and a small portion of the community that plays "sweats". That doesn't make them any better or worse than any other secondary weapon type.
