Then that logic goes to everything else: food, clothes, water, utensils, and other products.
Those can't be taken away without just 'cause, recalls. The player owns the game, the console, and the controller. These can't be taken away. But what can be taken away is the privilege of using the servers, which is what you should be referring to.

Edited by The Fighting Lion: 10/24/2016 6:27:31 PMPrivilege of server usage and "game experience" i.e. content. We don't own content, we buy a licence to play. All right there in the uela

Actually the player doesn't own the game, they own a licence to play the game, which at any point can be removed. What people are trying to say is that everyone has equal opportunity to get to the lighthouse, but not everyone is good enough in pvp to get there

The game and license are two things. The game is like all other games you buy it and you play it, some content is held off until you show skill or determination. The license is for the servers you have to connect to. Otherwise Destiny would have an online and offline mode. Also about the contract, last I checked you must be 18 years old to sign a contract, this game is marketed to Teens(under 18) so really the contract shouldn't exist, but it is very important my statement shouldn't diminish its importance in any way.
