That didn't work. Also, the icon appears for the tower but no one at the tower has a mission for me. Could these be related?

The icon ahould above shiro should go away if you complete the "A Light in the Dark" questline. The tower one went away when I reclaimed the rise of iron crucible quest from the abandoned quest kiosk. Might be a quest you got rid of causing the icon at the tower.

I have the same two issues on my Titan, but not on my hunter.
