Is it just me, or are people who seriously think the PS4 and Xbox One run on 30 FPS are more dumb than a bloody stone?
I'm just saying. Get your facts straight PC Peasants, you think our games run on 30 FPS? Where did you even find that “fact“? On a gamesite like IGN or GameSpot? Bad news for you, i play Six Siege on 60 FPS, i play Dark Souls on 60 FPS, and so i do play every other game i have on 60 FPS.
Oh, you wonder how i got my facts?
Well, there is a little program you can use to test the console FPS that i used. Completely legal and legitimate.

Framerate is really not something that should be worried about too much. Yes 30 looks bad once you've seen 60 for the first time but it doesn't detract from the gameplay. And besides that, no console has an inbuilt frame cap. Even some N64 games ran at fixed 60FPS. Framerate is just another excuse for Jims to be Jims about other consoles instead of minding their own damn business or being a half decent human being instead of always being needlessly inflammatory.

Most of those "facts" about framerate people get come from the developers themselves when they say "we locked our game at 30fps for *insert reasons here*".

You must have not done the puzzle section in Fallout 4 Far Harbor DLC on ps4. Go do that and then say 60 FPS lmao.

lol calls others dumb while giving an example of what fps two games run at as a fact for the fps of the whole console. PS4 and X1 have games that try to cap at either 30 or 60 fps while PC depends more on the game and your GPU, however all of them can see fps drops.

You can -blam!-ing see the framedrops on the Witcher 3, Fallout 4 and Bloodborne, it is not even funny how often these games have dipped below 30 and even 25, hell Witcher 3's swamp area had drops below 15 around launch. There are some exceptions but most tripple A releases have trouble running at a stable 30, not even close to 60. I play basicly every system that is relevant and most often on PS4, you can see this with your own eye's. What others tell you does not really matter that much if you yourself can see that it is not true.

6 RepliesActually dude alot of games do still run at 30 FPS. Alien isolation, AC syndicate, AC unity, batman arkham knight, bloodborne, destiny, fallout 4, farcry 4, mad max, and shadows of mordor are just some examples.

Along with Situations mode, which is a locked 30 FPS but still drops. Dark Souls stutters all the time. There are very few games on the One that run at a consistent 60fps. It's funny how you will spend $400 on a brand new console when they come out, but they have super outdated hardware that can't even run a consistent 1080p 60fps on nearly every game. Which is kind of a standard at this point. PC's are objectively better in every conceivable way.
