Skipped past the room in restoration, got lost in rocketyard as a level 2.

Had no idea how to go back to orbit the first time I got to the tower. I checked every setting looking for something that would whoosh me back to orbit.

Edited by shallowdegree72: 8/8/2016 12:07:42 AMDismantled 5 imago loops. I was also scared to go into crucible. I don't even know why.

Dismantled so many good vanilla weapons.

Not reading the tutorial on the first mission. Jumping down in that room in the Skywatch (where the broken-down helicopters are) only to be met by an Ogre who melted my face off with its eye laser or a Knight who chopped me to pieces. Trying to fight lvl.12 enemies while being lvl.7, thinking I was damaging them...

3 RepliesDismantling most of my Year 1 weapons for vault space...

1. Not buying Gjallarhorn when Xûr sold it the first time cause' nobody thought exotic heavys were worth it, plus coin were ridiculously had to come across. 2. Scrapping Gjallarhorn after getting from a legendary engram which I got from the loot cave, both circumstances were extremely rare to happen. 3. Waiting until The Dark Below to start raiding, I have no idea why I was so intimidated by them in vanilla, also I main a Hunter so finding teams was tough.

Not knowing supers were a thing for well over 2 weeks.

1 ReplyEdited by Demos: 8/7/2016 4:23:11 AMThinking that the higher the atk was (light) the better the gun was.. I.e 310 Suros> 300 GoM ; (

1 ReplyEdited by Lonewolf 762X511: 8/7/2016 3:47:29 PMI used to leave heavy on the ground for my fire team mates. I deleted the thorn quest 3-4 times because I currently didn't have a void weapon. I was really torn when Ghorn dropped. I was like "there is no way I'm putting my mida down for a rocket launcher". Ghorn sat in the vault for several months. Deleted the supremacy because it was purple. Everyone knows dudes don't use purple guns.

passing on ghorn because I didn't use rocket launchers

Edited by Tell Ian S: 8/7/2016 7:04:10 PMI fell off the map during the Atheon fight. I used Self Res & I fell off again. -Facepalm- During a single trials passage I self revived twice when the countdown for the round ended. LMAO

2 RepliesI didn't put much effort into the Queens Wrath event the first few days. Then I just thought "I'll grind it the next time!"

Dismantling ALL of my year one weapons (they were amazing and will be missed),). Also deleting the husk of the pit when I got it.
-
Deleted my Up for Anything like a week before they implemented item locking... Loved that thing.

Trying to Sherpa a team through vog even though I only had like 6 completions, but I met a really video game buddy in the process

"What the hell am I going to use an exotic heavy for??? My Suros takes care of everything." Delete Had Gjally very early in game - didn't have a clue.

2 RepliesI didn't play the first few iron banners cause I thought it wasn't for casuals. And I sharded gun after gun after gun that dropped because I already had the vendor version and didn't realize the drops had other perks. Still have a few heavy and special drops in the vault (and luckily with awesome rolls, though some have been nerfed, rip field scout) but that is only because their elemental damage was different from the ones I already had. And prior to that I didn't understand that enemy shields were elemental types.

Dismantling pocket infinity after getting a god roll fusion rifle. (This was after pocket infinity's nerf) I didn't even unlock the full auto perk.

Playing from day 1 I couldn't figure out how to use fusion rifles to save my life, I tried everything I could to get that thing to fire and it just kept charging. It wasn't until 3 months later when a friend was using one on patrol and I was like "WHAT IS THAT!" because it was amazing and I've never saw a weapon fire like that. He explained everything to me that day and later we went on to complete VOG for the week on all 3 characters. I received the Praetorians Foil and all he'll broke loose, I pulled the trigger and held it until the next day, when it FINALLY fired, and I was really upset with fusions at that point and I gave up and dismantled it, and the next one I received dismantled as well. 2 PF's gone forever, and I still refuse to use fusion rifles but I would like to have another PF. Biggest noob moment was when I had 9 strange coins and couldn't afford what Xur was selling the week before Gjallarhorn, I was kinda upset that I couldn't get more coins, so the next week I had enough coins and saw he was selling Gjallarhorn and I was disgusted "SERIOUSLY, A LAUNCHER!" I needed a primary weapon. I bought the stupid launcher and put it in the vault, where it stayed for 3 months. Also in the vault was another amazing weapon that I had no idea what it was. Vault space was very limited in the early days so I just dismantled almost everything. I had 2 Fatebringer's there as well as a Gjallarhorn for months, I knew they were in there but didn't care to use them, someone asked if I had Ghorn for VOG and I was like "That stupid gun from the Taco Bell commercial?(which is the only reason I bought it, because of Taco Bell) Yeah I've had it for 3 months, but I've never used it." they tore me a new one for that, and then I was like "should I use this Fatebringer gun too?" and everyone just lost it, after 2 hours spent laughing at me we finally did the raid. Then I got the Vex Mythoclast and everyone screamed "DON'T PUT IT IN THE VAULT!!!".

1 ReplyDismantled Hopscotch Pilgrim because I didn't like pulse rifles. Never got another and had no idea until I first came to the Bungie forums and heard people bitching about it. Thought my melee charge activated Fist of Havoc. Took me a month to realise it was my super meter that did it.

3 RepliesI didn't buy the ghorn when zur sold it for the first time.. noob
