Back in the beta, I found Randal the Vandal without knowing who he was and thought if I killed him I got good stuff....under leveled and still new to the game...I died a lot.

1 ReplyI'm sure a few have done this, but this had my cousin in stitches after a spectacular death. First time i did the omnigul strike on my titan (my first character) I charged at all the knights, jumped up into the air, aimed at them expecting to do my best Thor impression and rain down thunder upon them. Only to land bang in the middle of them and pop open a ward of dawn

1 ReplyI have played destiny for years, and a couple days ago I just found out that you can use notes of light to upgrade your gear. Yeah...bad isn't it?😂 I usually thought they were materials like spinmetal and stuff like that but can only be earned by activities!

Edited by Apocrypha: 8/8/2016 2:27:51 PMBack in day one, year one. I kept playing dark beyond when you've "awoken the hive!" And kept letting myself die by the knight after killing the ads. I got to lvl 18 before I stopped and it took me about 2 hours. Then I kept running the tiger strikes with my lvl 4 armor until I got to 20 and unlocked blink. My favorite ability in the game. My first character was a warlock and I never understood why someone would choose sunsinger over the void. I literally played strikes just to keep teleporting through the boss and pretend I was nightstalker.

Passing up on buying Ghallerhorn when Xur sold it the first time cause I had already had an exotic rocket launcher...The Truth. Took me a long time and many VOG completions to finally rectify that mistake.

1 ReplyFirst two months I played it was afraid of thrall, didn't do the story missions until late my brother sat next to me on our couch. Second, I didn't know how to load into crucible for another month. I thought the games would load instantly instead of searching for people.

So when I first got this game it was during the crota raid right when it dropped but it was late enough to where people knew how to beat it. Got to Crota (first time for me) and the party I was in knew I was bad they told me the only way to stop IR Yut from killing us was for me to run into the room where the puddle was and put my face in it, so I did, and I was really excited thinking I saved the raid, only to find out I was a noob!

Playing my first pvp match ever in rumble, during the Thorn era with a blue scout rifle....I went like 1-21, didn't play PvP again for about 3 months
