yes is a problem. Anyone who says otherwise hasn't experienced it yet or is new to the game. When i'm 3ft away from someone fan firing my last word and only 2 shots hit them, somwthings -blam!-ing wrong.
"well you just suck"
Actually, I dont. I've been playing crucible since day 1 and been using the last word ever since it was meta in PvP. I know what i'm doing, and I know when bullets dont hit. Same with hawkmoon. Sometimes hawkmoon doesnt do damage. Handcanons all have ghost rounds and that a bad play experience if i ever seen one.
Nothing about that is a good patch or fix. Thats downright senseless. Fine, nerf the gun in some way. But dont take away rounds in a gun just because thumbless scrubs are complaining. Its garbage.
EDIT: Since private matches came out, me and two other friends experimented different high impact and low impact HC's at different ranges while PACING shots and every single HC had ghost rounds. At about 30 yards, the Last Word (with CQB ballistics and Perfect Balance) only registered 2 shots out of 8. The Eyasluna and Lord High Fixer was the only two that hit 7/10 times consistantly. The Last Word went from a good gun to absolutely useless. Its a shame that such a good crucible gun was nerfed beyond use just because people enjoyed it. The Last Word was nerfed WAY TOO HARD.

I've been playing Destiny since the beta and I can tell you that ghost bullets are a major problem especially with handcannons. Whether or not a bullet hits should be based on location of your reticle and NOT up to RNG, because we all know how great that is. Of course your range should handle damage fall off but precision weapons should hit regardless, HC, Scouts, and Snipers. How in the hell does a Sniper EVER ghost bullets? And on a stationary target? All weapons are experiencing this but most notable in HC. Bloom didn't solve a damn thing and has made things worse. If Destiny ever wants to be an Esport level PvP experience then this HAS to be fixed. Ohh and rumor has it there has been another 'shakeup' in Bungle similar to Vanilla Destiny, hence why Destiny 2 got pushed back. I'm starting to believe Bungle doesn't care what it's fans have to say. Still no matchmaking for raids? Even though using LFG is the same exact thing. Why can't they make a social area or 'lobby' for players looking to raid, making it easier to find people. This is supposed to be a social game but has no way in-game to actually be social. What's the percentage of Destiny users that have completed a raid? Exactly
