Can you throw a shoulder charge across the map? Herein lies the difference.

I doubt knives thrown across the map will get you many kills

Good point, Titans can't waste their melee charge.

If you throw a knife across the Pantheon sniper lane and it just so happens to hit a low armor guardian in the head, it's all pure luck.

No but if you could it would one shot kill unlike the throwing knife

That's my point. You [i]can't[/i] throw a shoulder charge. There's no if. You have to risk a lot of things to get a shoulder charge off. You don't even have to engage an enemy to kill them with a throwing knife.

They have to already have half health now. Someone had have already engaged and you also have to risk throwing the knife giving them enough time to charge a fusion or pump some mods rounds into you. On top of that if you miss you lose the gun fight.
