They could only do it if it's on neo as well. Destiny is and will always be a ps based game

For destiny 1 yes, the rest not likely I really doubt Sony had the extra funds to just buy 10 years of exclusives from Activision right off the bat. Sonys gaming Sector Is its only profitable area right now and they have botched getting into handhelds like phones and dedicated handheld gaming systems, they have almost lost all of the photography and video thanks to their absurd proprietary memory restrictions. Don't even get me started on thier TV'S nobody buys their 4k tvs. Plus Sony has the habit of pushing thier gaming hardware really hard the first couple of years and then basically abandoning it expecting third parties to just make games exclusively for it. If ps4 neo flops Sony will abandon it they cant risk another ps3 fiasco even if they sold alot of regular ps4s

Lifetime my ass... Thats a load bull you use to make yourself feel better
-
It's not a load of bull. If you were here year 1 you would have seen the contract
-
There'd be a difference unless Neo is a 4K thing too. Yes they could make it PS centric still but I'd prefer giving each console a tone of sorts and have them cross platform is possible. High hopes but doable.
-
The neo will be 4k as well but that stuff will only work with a 4k t.v. a 1080 t.v can only do 1080.
-
Neo isn't a 4k gaming console, it'll be the same as the XboneS with upscale to 4k and 4k bluRay, unless Sony have scuttled back to AMD to get it drastically changed in order to get one over MS which I doubt given it's going to take MS over a year to develop Scorpio.
-
The XB1s is 4k only (confirmed) If you don't have a 4k tv it won't work (stupid imo)
-
It's a new tier of console.

Edited by Angelus-B-: 6/17/2016 2:13:36 PMIt plays 4k videos, will upscale games to 4k however not at 60fps, there's no consoles and very few GPU capable of playing 4k games at a high fps rate. Anyone who actually thinks or believes that either the Neo or XB1S are capable of playing 4k games are severely delusional.
In terms of hardware specs, while there is additional processing power, the Xbox One S won't give games a performance boost. Instead, the extra oomph is restricted to HDR support and 4K up-scaling of standard HD images. To quote Phil Spencer in our E3 interview, "I don't want anybody to think [Xbox One S offers] a performance boost for Xbox One games. That's why we said HDR on-screen, and that's what we want to be explicit about. Outside of that, you should expect your Xbox One games to run exactly the same."
i get ya. yeah I'm hoping maybe Xbox will invest in Destiny and either bring it's own Exclusives, or at least try and find a good way to personalize the Destiny experience through Xbox.
-
It won't happen lol. Ps has a contract with destiny for its lifetime.
-
Contracts change and things are bought out. But we can agree destiny won't become a ps exclusive
-
I never said it will be ps exclusive. I said it will always favor ps lol

Better hope Sony is working on making something magic for their next gen console. Because if not Microsoft will likely crush them with project Scorpio and the full integration of allowing pc users access to xbox live games and apps. That's potentially 300 million new additions to xbox just right there. If sony botchs it no gaming studio will consider wasting thier time with playstation when they have access to 90% of the world's gaming population just through xbox on day one of scorpio's release.

Doubt it.
