Honestly I don't even want WWII stuff, I just want it to be like TODAY, primarily just back in whatever time MW3 was. I'd even tolerate BO2 timeframe.
I just don't want this futuristic fire & forget killstreaks and built in wallhacks they are pawning off as "abilities" rather than cheats.

Eh. Modern settings are a) overused (little less these days, mercifully) b) dull as dishwater, especially in games as grounded as military shooters.

Every CoD since they has tried the futuristic approach which nearly nobody wants anymore. (for good reason, this BS where the game does perks and abilities that were things people used to install on thier PC & cheat with back in the old days was annoying, as were the killstreaks that you just threw into the air & they simply hunted the enemies down for you) I will say I'd prefer WWII to Future, but I'm just not trying to go too far back.
