I don't mean completely focused. But weighted on it more.
I know you more serious players want connection over all because you're generally not on the receiving end of a mercy call. But don't you hate sitting there while the teams are being broken up?

No. They need to switch to regional and cbmm completely. It will actually help, most games can be win or lost on lag.
-
I disagree. Skill trumps lag every time. Especially in 3v3. I've seen some horribly unbalanced games this last week and it's very clear why. No one is taking shots while undamaged, it mostly that my little crew of stoned casuals has been up against some very good clans and simply had our asses handed to us. Whatever they were testing, this week has been very, very bad for that. The lag has actually been good mostly. Don't get me wrong, I'm a casual, I need to git gud and I deserve to lose. But this week has been especially frustrating. I'm sure Bungie knows this because they are mining the data. I'm just expressing, anecdotally, how terrible it's been for me personally. I literally had a .33 KD in one. I've seen a Lot of folks quit and waiting in the lobby is back in full force.
-
See you are talking about ruining most people's experience because your casual. Admitting I'm no God, but I guarantee 70 percent of "good" players in this game have red bar to thank
-
No, I'm saying connection should be forefront, but record should also be a factor. I think you're wrong in saying that many people owe their KD to lag. I think a lot of people enjoy and are good at pvp. Then some of us, like me, only do it during events or the day once a day. I know the difference between lag and an effective player.
-
If they put skill front you'll see nothing but lag
-
I'm not saying it should be. But it was pushed too far back this week. It's horrible for us casuals.

Edited by akura555: 4/22/2016 8:37:39 PMI play crucible casually as well and havent had much trouble all week. I play daily though for pve. Lol . And sadly Its called report players who cheat or r too skilled. Wont run into them again because they go on a list that you cant see. Sort of like a blacklist that stays with you and you dont run into them again if you report them. Works too well. Have tested it out. Did a whole week with no reports kept running into the same people. I reported the hackers and laggers and didnt run into them again that same week. Two weeks of testing works well. So bungie your welcome for testing your in game reporting function for destiny. Works very well if you know what it does and how to use it.
-
Man, that's good advice. So, if I pick the right reason for the report, they go on my list but no actual report to Bungie?
-
Who knows but its helpful for not running ito people again you dont want to face.
