"The Hunters' Folly"
Character (s): Venator and Cerberus
Venator and Cerberus somehow end up on the ship after making a flee from Dissidan. They both get up in immediate confusion. Venator looks around while having blurred vision.
"Cerberus, where the hell are we?"
"I don't know mentor, but it seems like a huge ship."
"First the Infected and now this? -blam!- my life..."
The lights on the ceiling of the ship seem to flicker. This gives a sense of helplessness and anxiety to the normal man as without a memory of how they arrived and the eerie atmosphere, this would surely make fear stir. They both load up their finest arms, their visors light up, as well as their shield emitters.
"Cerberus, on my lead."
"Understood."
Their footsteps making a clamping noise with the metal ground, at least it's known the gravity is on the ship. Their MK XLIII Multi Purpose ship or the "Pathfinder" could not be traced by any signal possible, making them damn near stranded.

[i]You hear chittering sounds nearby. There also seems to be someone else too, judging from the stabbing sounds and the squeak of footsteps.[/i]

Venator grabs his Utrech MK VI laser pistol as he presses onto the wall as Cerberus stays on center with his Type-D Broken Knives Variant of the AMC or "All Purpose Carbine". Their sensors are active, and their HUDs load up.

[i]A purple-haired man is seen slashing monsters of some kind. He begins to pull out his pistol and starts unloading on the monsters.[/i]

Cerberus fires into the hoard of monsters, as they are getting picked off on his direction. Venator fires his laser pistol as well.

[i]He gets tackled from behind. The monster attempts to bite off his face, only for it to be stabbed multiple times.[/i]

[b]They both hear the sound of quiet footsteps nearby, and the sounds of someone firing a gun[/b]

They load up their sensors. Venator picks up the signal of the being. His Plasma Assault Rifle switches into a Sniper Rifle on command. "Watch your HUD, you know what to do."

[b]A tyranid gets blasted into your view, and three shots enter its head Jared emerges into the light, crouching over the bug [/b] "Gentlemen" [b]He says without looking up[/b]

"What...?" Cerberus starts to pick up his pace until Venator pauses him. He glances at him, and back to Jared. "Why are we here? And why in a damned run down ship?"

"You tell me, lemme guess, you woke up randomly like this?"

"We didn't wake up, we came just like this." Venator gets his chance to speak. His voice seemed to have a moderate english accent to it, but it seemed chilling." "Now, what's your deal?"
-
"Woke up in a bar, full gear on"
