Agreed Nike, the aim assist is is greater when you scope, you get 100% aim asssit for about a second. Basically if you can quick scope, you will get a headshot kill every shot.

I think it comes down to not wanting to use the exact same thing just to have a consistent counter. Back in the days of Thorn/broken The Last Word, this was the case and that's what made that era of PvP a terrible experience.
