I've had asthma since I was born, but it isn't as bad now. When I was young, it was severe. One Fall I was with pneumonia, the swine flu(idk if that is how it's spelled), and an asthma attack all at once. I could breath out, but I couldn't breath in. So I was basically there exhaling CO2, but not being able to take in oxygen. I was rushed to the hospital, and when I was hooked up to the IV, I overheard the doctors saying that I was 6 minutes away from dying. I didn't realize it at the moment, but my life was in serious danger. I'm glad to be alive.
