In reality, none of those albums really "saved lives" so...

I said it changed lives. Plus it easily could have saved lives by making people in tough areas doing wrong things stop by realising what they're doing and where it'll lead them. The album empowers people.
-
Whoever stops doing bad things because of hearing Kendrik Lamar or Alabama Shakes or even Taylor Swift never really did anything bad in the first place..
-
Yes because Taylor Swift and Kendrick Lamar definitely come from the same backrounda

If you think Kendrick Lamar helps people from committing suicide or cutting, you're a really weak minded individual.
-
When did I say it helps against suicide? Although he expresses he has had suicidal tendencies in his song 'u' that's not what I meant. I mean gang related violence. His music can make people realise things and that they are all up for a better life than that.
-
Even people into gang related violence. That's a very small percent of people.
-
It's still hundreds of thousands that are directly or indirectly affected by it. If it even makes 100 people quit their gangs to change their life the album surpasses being just music, which is exactly what it has done.
-
Still doesn't change or save as much lives as many, MANY other bands or albums.
-
I'd like to hear those that you think have done more to being these issues to attention while spreading positive emotions throughout.

Look up a band called For Today. Rap and Hip Hop/R&B literally have the worst messages in a genre. All it is is Sex, Drugs, and Money.
-
And there you show your dumbass bias towards. I can generalise genres too. We're not talking about rap/hiphop in general, we're talking about Kendrick's album and other albums you thought had more effect on people. I'm done with your borderline troll crap.
