Let's be honest - sticky grenades take no skill. People tend to start a match with the single minded intent to throw a sticky grenade at someone. They don't even attempt to engage you, they just throw a sticky and you have to deal with it. There is no counter-play. There is no way to defend against it.
That's fine, but then why are they so easy to use? They have 150 Aim Assist bare minimum and they are absolutely one of the cheapest ways to get killed.
It should take skill to get an instakill. The grenade should have to actually be aimed if there is going to be no possible counterplay

2 RepliesOh do shut up. Go play cod or something. Asshats like you are what's destroying this game.
-
There is a way to defend against it. Use a chest piece that reduces solar damage. Easily done.
-
1 ReplyWas not surprised by OP's highest level character.
-
Haha nope
-
No , they take skill and good timing
-
8 RepliesStickies bounce off sometimes and timing and aim are incredibly important in using them. Easier to snipe head shots than use a sticky grenade plus that's the only thing sunsingers have that set them apart from the other classes and subclasses
-
4 RepliesShit you have no idea how much skill it takes to make unicorns out of people with the trip mine. It takes way more skill than using the 1k stare be sure!
-
Yes plz, no heat seeking and thr ok
-
You can counter them. If you see the flaming ball slowly flying towards you, you can Titan skate back. You can also juke them with a well timed Hunter "increased control" jump. Warlocks are just SooL unless you have blink on.
-
Oh boy here we go.
-
I've hated and loved them in the same match. I say let them stay.

Edited by InsaneGuero310: 1/30/2016 1:46:53 AMNo need skill to stick on someone leave it. how it is

For every action there is a reaction. I guess your to slow.

Woe be the state of crucible. Another "skilled" befallen by the tactics of the common rabble. How dare the unclean sully our "skilled" player. Your super high aim assist grenades that stick like dirty little boogers to our pristine "skilled" comrade. I mean they practically bend around walls! How can he be expected to counter such dastardly trick? It's not like he can move to left or right......or blink.......or shade step........or make note of the dude who is running around with those little balls of skilled players doom and play him accordingly. How dare you Bungie. How dare you. We may as well bring Thorn back to its glory if this is the state of things. Seriously.

1 ReplyJust no it doesn't even track most of the time trust me.
-
Sticky grenades are my fave, not only v satisfying when it's stuck to someone & they burst into flames but also in crossfire it's handy if weapon has shit reload speed.
-
1 ReplyNerf the tower. Way to much going on there.
-
L2 shoot nades dude...
-
5 RepliesTry sticky grenades, max discipline, armamentarium, and simmering flames. It is hilarious.
-
Jumping usually does wonders for avoiding being stuck. Unless you are within arms length in which case they probably wouldn't miss anyway.

Edited by ScrewLogic: 1/30/2016 1:13:30 AMA good pvp player doesn't complain about how he dies if there is a counter. If opponent does not engage you and you know his mindset, back off. So I sincerely mean it when I say
git gud
-
11 RepliesWhiny bitch getting rekt by grenades too much?
-
2 RepliesYou are obviously a highly skilled pvp player. However, anyone that authors a post calling for a nerf is a scrub. Take that one death you have in each match like a man.
-
5 RepliesIf you're so good and skilled at destiny, than you should be able to evade a sticky nade.
-
I don't think they should be nerfed, but when they're going to miss you and then all the sudden they make a 80 degree turn to stick to you, that sucks.
