Since lost in light is out today what do you think is the hardest exotic gotten from a quest or secret? I am having trouble with getting the first curse
Edit - seems to be between Thorn or Chaperone. Never experienced the Thorn quest but sounds like it was a pain.

I have no idea why people haven't thought of this Do paradox with secret ghosts and alternate ending Kill taken minotaurs Kill atheon (the grind) Do solo mission on twilight gap (annoying) Defeat ultra whilst killing numerous minotaurs and keeping an anger meter above 100 (tedious)

2 RepliesYear 1 bad juju Multiple hours in the crucible and 25 strikes
-
1 ReplyThorn was easy af. I finished that in 3 games with a blue fusion rifle.
-
Thorn year 1 chaperone year 2
-
Year one Thorn with my Atheon's Epilogue. The grind was real. Damn I wish they would bring Thorn to year 2.
-
Easily Y1 Thorn. All I had was my Comedian back then.
-
Thorn bounty as a hunter using nothing but a rare fusion rifle. F. That. Shit.

Pocket infinity

1 ReplyHow lame first curse is a breeze. Chaperone sucked

4 RepliesEdited by XiX_GhOsTx_XiX: 1/6/2016 9:08:43 PMDefinitely Thorn during Vanilla. Atheon's Epilogue, void secondary, void machine gun. That's one thing I definitely won't forget, what a pain in the ass! It was wayyyyy too easy once Word of Crota and Swordbreaker entered the fold. Edit: Unfortunately when I did it, Atheon's Epilogue was literally the only void item I had at the time though I did luck into a Praedyth's Revenge towards the end.

Sleeper simulant for me
-
Thorn and Bad Juju. Thanks for reminding me, now I'm going to have nightmares about them again.

11 RepliesAll you people saying chaperone. Clearly never solo'd the thorn strike at level.25 back in the first few months of the games release
-
2 RepliesPre-nerf Thorn without a void primary or boosting...with a Blade Dancer.
-
7 RepliesThorn bounty on my hunter. Shout out to all the other who had to do this. Atheons epilogue Peruns fire (void fusion) Jolders hammer
-
I've done both thorn and chaperone and chaperone was by far harder. I would get it up to like 40-50% then next game I'd be back at like 10%. I eventually gave up and just used SRL to finish it.
-
Y1 Thorn quest w/o void weapons. I did it on my Bladedancer Hunter with nothing but a void shotgun (and not a very good one). Hardest quest I've ever done.
-
Had trouble before they buffed that shit tier white hand cannon for the first curse bounty. The sword isnt hard but its worth a mention for the serious grind on it
-
Chaperone Thorn is a good second but I did that on my warlock when fusion rifles did well in crucible so it wasn't all that hard
-
Thorn No void weapons except a blue fusion rifle I got void shotgun when I completed the quest
-
Thorn on Hunter, but as for TTK, no quest is really hard, just tedious. Thr ones that comes to mind was Chaperone (NOT HARD), First Curse (Tedious) and the Sleeper Simulant (Confusing without a guide).
-
Thorn.

4 RepliesThorn on a hunter and no void primary

Thorn

Anyone who says the chaperone quest is a noob because it is incredibly easy. My KD is (or was) negative when I completed it.

Chaperone, with thorn a close second on Hunter. Chaperone needs well over a 2.0 k/d to progress in average play. Sure, bonuses exist but this is a tall order. A bad game can set you back 30%. Thorn only needs to keep a 1.0 k/d with void weapons to advance. A really bad game can set you back 10% at worst.
