Enemy was a full fire team, a fire team of 5 left me alone after having a dance party. I try to make peace and and dance with the enemies, but they shotgun me and proceed to tbag. Instead of quitting like a little b1tch, I played it through. I lost, got no loot, and already had 5 medallions, but at least I had the balls to stay in the match
Edit: Just joined in on a 2v6 match 10,000 to 2,000. They had heavy and supers. Needless to say It wasn't the funniest experience, but if my poor teammate could tough it out, why can't I? We finished the match, with me in the lead with one kill and a .17 kd. Yeah, we got rekt that badly, but on the bright side, the dude said thank you afterwards
Edit: I'm looking through the comments and noticing that this is a reoccurring theme. The problem is lots of people leave matches for legitimate reasons, since real life always comes first. But we need a system of preventing people from leaving matches early just because it looks like they'll loose. So, why not implement a 2-5 minute timer after you leave a match where you can't join back in another match. This will mean that if you had to leave for something in real life, the timer would be done by the time you get back. And if you leave just cuz, you have to wait. Please comment and let me know if you think this'll work.

Totally agree. And props to you for sticking out tough matches

Good job man. I've had a few matches like that, but kept in the match. Whatever it's all good. Kids are afraid of getting their ass whooped these days, I mean come on.

Edited by l Rogue Sama I: 1/1/2016 4:39:05 AMMe and some other poor -blam!- were never matched with anyone else just to be against a full 6 man clan from the start of the match until the mercy rule kicked in, this has happened to me 5 maybe 6 times already, how hard is it to get decent match making.. I honestly almost thought you were the guy I was teamed with, we trucked through trying our best despite the disadvantage
-
Lmao at people shitting on this guy for grinding out a hopeless situation. Integrity, or lack of, is what happens when no one is watching. Props to you, OP, for not being a part of the whole mid match quitting epidemic.
-
I feel you it happens a lot
-
I keep landing in matches of 17000 to 6000 matches. Or matches where mercy rule is called seconds after I'm in. I tried it with teams but usually two randoms will leave making it 6v3. I've also gotten error codes, sent to orbit, rejoin, only for it to be the same match and somehow they gained 5000 points and every zone in one minute. Or when we're winning we all get baboon errors, lose everything, and then the other team controls all zones and is winning.
-
Why allow stacked teams to matchmake with randoms? Another idiotic oversight by money hungry bungie. But the community expects way too much according to that fatass Luke Smith.
-
I only leave when I get zoo code booted. Otherwise, yeah, it's beneath me.
-
5 min seems fare, like you said, " if real life reason then timer will be done anyway "
-
This would have been fun for me. Aslong as it wasn't control. But the tbags. Lmao. 6 v 1. Lmao. Sorry it's just so funny. Of course it's just for the icing on the cake. Lol that's all.

2 RepliesBuncha sweaty fatass tryhards on the other team. I woulda danced with ya bro.
-
5 RepliesIb is about winning. If i see people camping and not hitting control points and not getting kills to boot i leave. With the lag issue on top of all that i dont owe anyone anything to stay and lose. If its regular crucible ill stay and take the hit but ib is different. Especcially when i play solo.
-
I would of went and hide somewhere that always make them mad when they can't find you :)

I played a game of skirmish a few days ago and both of my teammates left. 1v3 for the rest of the game. They were all blink shotgunning in a fireteam of 3. They all tbagged me when they blink shotgunned Me. What a classy group.
-
That's one way to be forged in fire.
-
No one captures
-
Good job sticking it through, even if it means a loss
-
Me and my friend were in a 2 v 6 too. I was trash talking to the team of six the previous game too. I still whooped their asses
-
Kudos to you for the effort, twice. IB is all about the wins but to me you showed determination to win which, at least gets honorable mention.
-
When this happens I wish itd spawn in a computer controlled Shaxx to fight with you to even the odds. Make him godly, like as if he fills 5 player slots. However if the team brings him down still they win and receive unique gear

Edited by WHO WAS PHONE: 12/31/2015 11:01:12 PMI hate people like that. I remember one time, I was playing normal Control and there was a guy on the enemy team named "Cool Guy," or something along that line, who kept trying to dance with players and kept getting killed. The first time I encountered him, I shot a rocket and killed him, but the second time, he popped his bubble, then sat down. Faith in the community restored, I sat down with him, only to have a guy named (I'm not sh*tting you here) "TMoneyBagzz" (it was that bad; his clan name was "Jokerz and Killaz") shotgun slide me. Guess which player got the friend request? Regardless, people who don't dance in such a situation are jerks. Maybe I'm a hypocrite, since I remember one salvage match where I was in a 3v1 match and kept playing, but in my defense, the guy in question used the shotgun-slide combo and was teabagging everyone when his team was in the lead, before we pulled ahead and his other two members quit. He got the teabagging of his life during that match.

Edited by ROMOSAPIEN9: 12/31/2015 10:59:45 PMNO!! if they try to start another match within your 5 minute timer idea they get sucked back into the SAME match and are blocked from quitting. At least sitting down or dancing would end the game faster
-
The real solution is to fix matchmaking! Pit a fireteam of six against a fireteam of six!
-
Screenshot or it didn't happen
-
Not even halfway through a match and everybody but me and another dude was on the team we got our Butte kicked but I always stay if losing. We got our revenge next round though
-
*virtual high five* I would have danced with you mate :)
