Why do guys choose female characters? The REAL answer.
So, you're wondering why some guys choose to play as female characters.
Want the answer?
It's because this is a video game, and people do what they want to get the most enjoyment from a game.. Correct me if I'm wrong, but that [i]is[/i] the point of a video game... Right?
"You aren't a girl in real life, so why is your character a girl?"
Call it a hunch, but I don't think people can pull flaming revolvers out of the air and shoot fire in real life, either. But your characters still do.
Destiny is [i]not[/i] meant to be an accurate representation of the real world, for what I hope are obvious reasons.

For destiny I pick a female character for their body style and how if that fits the role and definition of the class. Hunter and warlock? Female. Titan? Male

Titans are way too bulky when they are male, hunters just look good when female, and male warlocks don't wear dresses.

I play video games because I want to kill things but society frowns upon it in real life. I never really thought about killing things as a woman so I guess I can't relate to you.

Smaller hit box usually, but bungie would probably screw that up

I know that in cod ghosts, the females were much smaller than the male characters, thus providing a smaller hit box for the opposing player to hit. Haven't really seen anything to that effect in destiny, but it may have a carry over from those times.

I made a female hunter cause it was what I thought seemed fitting I made a male titan cause it seemed fitting as well I made a female warlock not because it seemed fitting, bit the menu stance seemed more badass than a male to me

There's a certain amount of enjoyment in watching a girl do what is "traditionally" a male role - especially in an fps - as well.

Gender is in real life and this is a role playing game so if u pick to play the role of a female and u are a male when there is a male option it's like being a guy and wearing a dress out in public instead of pants. Granted technically nothing wrong with tht but no question it's still weird
