In they patch notes they said it in a way that led us to believe buying from Lord Salad is a "last resort" sort of thing. But clearly it's the only option. Had Bungienjust said so instead of lying then there would be no need for any qq

I wouldn't say so, They did say games would be the primary source of gear. As in, it'll drop from just playing games often enough to erase the need for the vendor almost
