"DECREASES MELEE ATTACK COOLDOWN TIME"
"increased melee attack speed" those by definition and understanding of the English language are different. if they are the same then bungie needs to make them both say the same thing just like everything else. yes, clearly only one can be in play or else it would be an extra perk. im requesting they FIX it so i can actually know which one is in play.

Those that understand the English language know that "Decreases melee attack cooldown time" and "increased melee attack speed" mean the same thing. This is how it works: decreased melee cooldown time means you can use your melee ability faster or more frequently than you could without that perk.

I thought about that as I hit the send button on that reply, but I don't think that's what Bungie was trying to imply. When it says "increased melee attack speed", er, actually whenever Destiny says anything about melee it's talking about your melee ability, not your normal melee (stab, punch, palm). Think of it this way: rocket launchers have a velocity stat that basically tells you how fast the rocket travels. Sparrows have a... you know what nevermind. No matter how I try to do this it's not gonna' be right. It's always going to come back to how "increased melee attack speed" really does mean "hit people faster". So I give up, you win.

Ugh. You must not have read my full reply. I said: "I concede. You win."
