Iron Banner gear should cost Glimmer
I have been saving Glimmer for that purpose. Now that I found out about this, I'm pissed.

16 RepliesIt's fare because you use legendary marks for the other weapons & armor they sell at the tower so why should Iron Banner gear be any different?

It's going to be in game drops that will be your main source for fear.

1. They want us to get our gear from drops now, not ranking up and then buying it. 2. They are trying to fight those who glitch into the game the first day of IB, and then buy all the gear with the rank from the previous IB>

I fail to see how the level of an emblem matters, if you like it then I see no point in not wearing it.

I'm hoping that the gear is at least cheaper than regular vendor gear. It takes the better part of a week to buy a helmet/chest piece and even longer for a weapon. Also knowing bungie "increased drop rates" means "increased drop rates for the randoms that singlehandedly lose the game for the team" Also wtf is glimmer even for anymore? I have almost near max glimmer constantly because there's nothing to buy.

2 RepliesTotally agree, iron banner gear was one of the only ways people like me that don't raid often or have time to grind marks could get top tier gear. This and finding out the quest I've been working on for two days gives an uncommon EMBLEM for a reward is making me want to stop. The fun ended at 2.0 for me. The 500% increase in grind just makes it annoying

Yeah i agree with you mate, legendery marks have multiple other uses. Lets hope we can get a hidden quest in the maybe for exotic sword that is similar design of the armor
