Hung Jury Worth It?
I recently got a Hung Jury off of a Dead Orbit package at 298 with Critical Mag and Firefly. Is it worth the 150 marks just to add triple tap on it considering I'll still have to infuse it up to its 298 glory, or should I just be happy with my roll and save my marks for infusing other gear as I'm running one of each class right now?
edit: Well thank you all for taking the time to answer this, I think based on everything I read I'm gonna keep the current version of Hung Jury I have as the stability on it without hand laid stock is still really good in my opinion (i find most omolon series have decent to good stability) and triple tap isnt a huge necessity for me while I have rescue mag, seeing as firefly is the main draw to Hung Jury anyway. I still have at least three y1 exotics i'm looking to upgrade so I think the vendor hung jury will be a future endeavor when I have more disposable marks.

2 RepliesTriple tap is nice....but not 150 marks nice, imo. The base stats and Firefly are what make that weapon...I have three different versions of that weapon (Crucible, Gunsmith, and Tlaloc---the Warlock exotic) and love all of them. The weapon you have right now will wreck it in PvE, I'd spend those 150 marks on something else you need.

Unless you have maxed marks and a steady quick supply, I'd stick with what you got. The one you got looks darn fine as is.

Upon reading your entire post again, yes buy the vendor one. Here's why Triple Tap Firefly Scope highlights enemies at optimal range. Stability so close to max, it basically is max.

I literally don't even carry another non-exotic primary. There's no point. Hung Jury does it all.

YES! BUY IT! With Extended Mag and Triple Tap, you can shoot 26 shots, instead of 20 with Extended Mag. It is amazing, and very strong and beautiful! BUY IT

If you think about it anyway, you'll gonna find yourself with a ton of marks and not know what to spend it on. That's my case right now. So I bought it anyway. Decision not regretted. Edit: Forgot to mention. Plus the fact that it has perfect balance.. Precision hits all day. Triple taps comes in handle. If I'm not wrong. My magazine of 16 will increase to about 26 with all headshots. So nice.

5 RepliesIf you infuse a 298 weapon to a 280 attack weapon, it will be around 293 attack. Dont know why but thats just how the values work. Amd if yours has hand laid stock, keep the one you have, HJSR4 with hand laid stock can have max stability

Triple tap is great for pve but not much for pvp. Coming from a 310 hung jury

Crit mag Is very situational and triple tap is good only if you have good aim

buy the vendor with triple tap and then just infuse it with blues, don't dismantle your other hung jury.
