A Sword Reforged not obtainable Glitch?
MY sword, Sol Edge, has 296 attack and all 5 nodes are unlocked. i have not received the Sword Reforged from Shaxx. Can this be fixed because so far it seems like my account is singled out and no one else has this problem. Please help Bungie.

2 RepliesArbarter I think I figure it out! Equip the sword onto your other character. "Try both if you have two" then go and talk to Shaxx with that character. It worked for me. Even though I got the sword with my Titan I upgraded it with my Hunter so my hunter had to initiate the quest... even though he already got an exotic sword. Hope it helps!

Has anyone figured this out? I have one character only and I have my void edge fully upgraded (including the extra node from going above 280) and I've never gotten the sword reforged bounty or quest. Checked my abandoned quests to see if I abandoned it back before I realized what it was. What the heck do I do now?..

I have the same problem, Glad to know I'm not the only one. I own Raze Lighter and Bolt Caster, just bougth the Void Edge and leveled it up to 291 attack, no quest from Lord Shaxx.

I'm at the last quest beat the arc warden for my arc sword but didn't kill alak hul in time when finished the quest had killing the warden checked off still, went and did the strike again killed the warden then alak hul within 30 seconds but didn't complete

I am having a similar problem. My Arc Blade is 308 Attack, 10/10 rare materials, 100% Arc Kills and yet I am not able to turn the quest in. Why?

1 ReplyI have the sword reforged quest and I have 100% arc kills and 10/10 elements but the elements part won't check off as completed. I already completed voids edge quest just waiting to turn in on wednesday. Could it be you can only turn in one at a time?

You are not alone. Main toon, no swapping, 294 Sol with all bubbles filled. Nada from Shaxx. He never actually indicated the first phase, I just happened to check in with him... Discouraged....

2 RepliesDid you transfer the sword to an alternate character before leveling it up? I have all three legendary swords, my Warlock had the Void, my Hunter had the Arc, and my Titan had the solar. I had the Arc sword transferred to my Warlock before it was leveled above 280 and my Hunter never received the Sword Reforged quest. My Warlock and Titan did though, since they were the ones that leveled the swords to 280+. I thought my Hunter lost the quest due to a glitch. I went ahead and did the quest on my Warlock and Titan, and after I completed the Ecthar portion on each, my Warlock received two quests for both the Void and Arc. So I'm guessing the quest is tied to whatever character did the leveling on the sword, not necessarily which character received the sword initially? So try going to the tower and have each character equip all swords to see if the quests pop up

Fully upgraded the sword on my hunter, same character I got the exotic arc sword, 292 attack, all bubbles filled, talked to Shaxx and nothing happened. So I put the sword on my Titan and talked to Shaxx to no avail, and same thing with my warlock. Could someone from Bungie please comment on this with any ideas as to why this would be happening.

same here, upgraded sword on other character, then switch to character who made this sword and nothing happened, all quests, conditions completed

Please help Bungie.[/quote] I have the quest for void and arc exotic swords on hunter and warlock. My solar sword is fully upgraded and over 290. Unable to get the quest on the titan that recieved the sword.

same issue here sword maxed on wrong chr as got swords did with two swords maxed on my main. now no quest bungie fix this glitch swords over 290's and all maxed when swapped back to the other guys there quests not showing up story line and all required stuff done. Get are sword quest to show thanks.

Had the same issue. Had to rank up all my swords above 280 before it game the quest.
