A real review of the taken king
This is an honest review, weighing in on both the pros and cons. Look at other reviews, most are just blanket statements about how great it is, this video is more in depth and most of all [b][u]HONEST[/u][/b]

I have no problem with people who play the game and love it, but when every video game adopts this business model, dont come crying about how ugly it is down the road. This is happening NOW. These companies must know that WE are what matters, we are not just dollar signs. I hope people understand how important this is, right now.

2 RepliesI watched every second of the video, and his opinions are pretty much the same as many others who have now "experienced" what TTK offers only to find they have, [b]once again[/b], been shafted. I'm glad he did one thing good in the video: [b]blamed the correct party[/b]: Activision. Bungie sold its soul to get their game published, and now they're paying the ultimate price. I can't even begin to know how much this has burned them, and it's highly unlikely Destiny will ever be theirs because Activision is [b]notorious[/b] for taking ownership of much of the IP. Given whatever contract they've signed (and let's hope it isn't 10 years), Bungie should walk the hell away from Destiny and start again. The next time: find a publisher that doesn't screw over its fans. Destiny could have been a game I'd gladly invest 10 years into, but after vanilla, TDB, and HoW, it has come to an end for me. I don't even own the game anymore. I doubt Bungie will keep my character on their servers for too much longer, which is probably for the best given I couldn't even play it in the game and 2 DLC I bought. I hope it was worth it, Bungie.

5 RepliesThis guy is such a hypocrite. All he ever did was talk Destiny down and say "I've pretty much quit... I'm done supporting Bungie" and the like. Have a look through his vids. But now of course he's realized if he lets go of Destiny then he can no longer produce relevant Destiny content, and that means less views, less money for him as a YouTuber and yeah... here he is playing TTK. He's a hack, a hypocrite. I'm not saying his opinions about TTK are incorrect or invalid. I'm saying this guy lacks integrity and should be ashamed of himself for being such a sell out [u]based on his former statements and opinions regarding Destiny[/u]. He reasons away his lack of a spine in the first minute or so of his commentary, and that's where I turned it off.

This review sums up very much what I hear. Only fanbois think it is great, and if that's who is being catered to, then the DLC should have cost more because those fanbois would probably pay $80 to $100 for the same content. Haters might not have liked it anyway but there are plenty who would change their mind if given enough of an excuse to, but TTK sounds like not a good enought excuse. I too probably would have gotten this out of the gate for $20 or $15 if also people who didn't buy the dlc weren't purposely shafted to try to force them to buy new stuff. Good but not good enough and extortion marketed. Sounds spot on.
