Chaperone quest is so bs
If you thought thorn was bad don't even try going for this gun you have to get a 2.0 kd to even begin getting somewere. I'm already done with the first part for those saying git gud
Edit: for those saying git gud I'm done with the bounty just waiting till Tuesday. This post is saying that people who generally can't do well in crucible will struggle with first part a little bit.

I don't understand how it works. After a 5 kill spree it jumped from 86% to 92% and then I got blasted by a nova bomb on respawn and went 89% what the -blam!-?

Edited by MrSoldierpants: 9/29/2015 9:48:08 PM- Kills only go against you if TLW is equipped so..... - Only equip TLW when you have special or heavy - only use on maps your comfortable with - play rift or control and DONT play the objective, just camp out and pick people off. - killstreaks give HUGE bonuses. I managed a 15 kill streak with TLW equipped (using mostly super and heavy) my percentage jumped from 25% to 75% just from that Took a total of 4 games

Took like 8 games. Went 5.0 on cauldron. People kept sprinting from A to B only to get blasted by my LW.

I have a great start for u bud I kept dieing in pvp but play rift.. Also u only lose points or % with last word equipped. So switch primaries after a kill also if u have 5 kills without dieing it doubles ur points so basically have a good sniper snipe the rift area and after a couple kills hide switch weapons start another kill streak kill the 5th person with two sniper body shots or one headshot

If you're having trouble I recommend going into one of the "classic" playlists as there are more less experienced players who recently started playing and have not purchased ttk. I'm really not that great at crucible but after just a few matches I went from around 6-8% to above 50%.

1 ReplyIf you're having so much trouble just boost. Go into rumble, find an isolated spot and have a friend run up to you and kill him or her. Sure it's frowned upon and you technically didn't "earn it" or whatever but if you have no problem not feeling that accomplishment I don't see why not because literally nobody is going to be affected negatively from you doing it and it will ease the frustration.

5 RepliesYou only have to have the gun equipped not get kills with it. Also your deaths don't count when it isn't equipped... heavy ammo spawns every few minutes... you see where I'm going here.

1 ReplyI beat it in less than 3 games, but I guess I'm one of the few. My advice is to play rift, stay back with a sniper, and kill everyone when they try and come there. First game I did that (with Randys), I went on a 15 streak and got 55% done. Then I got a team and the rest was cake.

2 Repliesjust wait till you have to get a killing blow with a shotgun on the shield brother with light 290, and you are doing it with 2 others who need the bounty. not all three players can get the killing blow. you are on the easy part

1 ReplyEdited by Bruhns: 9/20/2015 12:03:01 PMIf you have to get at least a 2.0 to get anywhere, aim higher. Try to get 4.0 or higher. Tips for this are as follows. -Be that asshole with a shotgun. -Only attempt on maps that you know and are appropriate with this play style. -Use those corners. -Take the long way around and sneak up on your opponent from behind. -Don't run and gun unless you are sure you can get away with it. -Keep an eye on your radar to locate any prey or predators. -Stay stocked on ammo -Use Machine Guns instead of Rockets. They allow a greater volume of kills, and can score headshots for bonus progress. -When heavy drops, hide till rockets are all used up. -Sprees give a nice bonus towards completion as well, so prioritize survival over everything. You will feel dirty afterwards, but if done correctly, progress will be made very quickly.

Just finished the shield bros part of that quest. If you don't have Fourth Horseman then good luck. Now I just have to wait for Wednesday to get the final step for my exotic sword quest
