This omolon sniper.
Is so damn bad. I mean I'll be the first to admit that I'm not the greatest sniper in this game but it's just so bad. Getting 10 kills with it is so damn painful. Also I know it's a white test weapon but still.

Took me two games cause I don't know the special ammo locations.

I had a hard time with that too. I found it easiest to get kills in control on vertigo. That was how I completed field testing it.

I got it in one game by playing rift and targeting the other team when they were trying to pick up the spark. Not too hard, but it takes some getting used to.

1 ReplyI do have a question about the test weapons though. Are we receiving legendaries for these? Or rares? Or is this just to rank up the gunsmith for marks later?

Head shots.. it was easy

Slow rate of fire. Low damage. Gross recoil. Ugly sound. Bad sniper!

I actually love it. Aim assist seems to be quite good and the scope + firing is just so nice. Can't wait to get a real Omolon sniper :D

Managed to get it in 2 matches. Is it really that bad? I never snipe so I wouldn't know.

I was actually doing pretty decent with it as long as I got a headshot. If you can't land the headshots that sniper is awful.

Ik it is terrible beyong compare...it was annoying as hell to do but i finally got it done and got the gunsmith up to rank one

Played rift and got it done in 1 game supporting my team from snipers, beautiful sound, beautiful feel but lacks punch since its a common weapon, i absolutely have to have this weapon in legendary !!

Just use it as a highrange zooming scoutrifle. So easy to handle.

7 RepliesI loved the snipers he had. The Hakke one was so nice. That fusion was god awful though, but I'm not a regular fusion rifle user, and by that I mean sniper or shotty, depending on the map. Haven't used fusions since the cap was 300 and everybody was 29.

It's a common weapon, once we see some with high impact or maxed stability, the whole "foundry weapon" pill will be a bit easier to swallow.
