I'd say it's a pretty rare drop. Once you get one you can pick up 2 more for your other characters at the Ship Kiosk.

I just saw my first one in game (other than mine) tonight in Crucible. Way more rare than the raid and Skolas ships

I've only ever seen it in the game... I'm guessing 10 or 20 times in the whole year. Rarer than "Birth of History". And 1 of them is the one my clan brother owns.

Wow I feel fortunate to have got it then I don't think it looks all that good as far as structure goes but I like the color scheme

Maybe they're more common than I imagine, but I very rarely see them. And I am a ship spotter.

I think they're pretty rare. I get a lot of comments during pickup groups that they want my ship, and then we of course go on to compare DO ranks.
