Multiple Dreadnaughts Theory

/Incoming transmission from the collective of knowledge /Decryption loading. Startup initiated Hello my name is Analytical Ghost, you may call me AG Today we will be discussing the Dreadnaught, or shall I say Dreadnaughts. Before I got any further I would like to give credit where credit is due. I would like to thank to thank my friends who came up with this at the collective of knowledge. A group member brought it to my attention that In the first mission of taken King you can scan a picture of the dreadnaught to which the ghost says "this a picture of A hive dreadnaught. Why would the cabal have this?" He then suggests that there are multiple Dreadnaughts, which is actually grammatically correct in that sentence. I then decided to do a little looking into this. If you search the definition of dreadnaught it means " A type of battleship with heavy caliber weaponry" So this kind of supports it since it's a type of battleship, so there must be multiple of them Disagree with me? prove me wrong! Ghost, out. /end of transmission Portfolio

  • This is a bit outdated now that we know the Dreadnaught was made of Akka's body

    • I think the dreadnought in our system is just the biggest and most powerful of the bunch as it is stated the oryx built it himself for himself.

    • This is likely correct. If we assume that the presence of a Dreadnaught is indicative of a Hive God being on-board, we could imply that there must be as many Dreadnaughts as Gods. We currently know of five Hive Gods; Eir Ur, Xol, Yul and Oryx, so we could guess that the Hive have five Dreadnaughts as well.

      • The Dreadnaught may be of sumilair design, but the Hull of the Dreadnaught is a piece of the corpse of Akka, reinforced with armor.

      • Well they have a fleet of tombships surrounding the dreadnaught but I am interested in how the ghost knew.

          • I mean, the executor was the flag ship of the imperial fleet, but it wasn't the only stardetroyer, so why wouldn't their be more. We are still likely only ever to board the one as for now, but it would make sense.
