22 RepliesNeat. But as for the game itself, my hype is low. Almost entirely because of two reasons: 1. Multiplayer achievements that 343 seems so intent on throwing into their games that irritate the hell out of me. Or SLASO shit- get that shit out of here. 2. Making Chief a bad guy? I swear if this game ends with the Chief still being villianized, I'm going to be furious.

25 RepliesHow does that hype anyone up? At no point in the game will you ever do something like that in game. Ever. That is one of the main reasons I hate prerendered cut scenes. They show characters that do things gamers never get to do, which is such a let down and a virtual slap in the face. Sure, I'm interested in H5, but at no point in the Halo games did I ever feel like a Spartan. Let alone the best spartan ever.

There is something about seeing the new Spartans always tearing through enemies like tissue paper that just turns me off. Don't get me wrong, I appreciate the skill that went into the creation of these scenes, but even in the intense scenes from the Avengers and other films that this has obviously used as influence, they are taking some hits. I find it removes the impact from Bucks line. Why admit to being scared if they just tear through the enemies like all the other cutscenes.

The only thing that remotely impressed me were the character models and faces in the beginning. The action sequence felt uninspiring.

24 RepliesOne of the worst cinematic so I've seen, simply because it craps on the Halo franchise. Master Chief cinematics were not him jumping around -blam!- hundreds of aliens. If he was vastly outnumbered, Cortana got him out--and he's stronger than all of them.
