For people who are fine with gally ( and one year exotics) being left behind...
Did you people even think about it ramifications of this? You guys are aware that the gally and other year one exotics are going to be "frozen in time", never to be upgraded ever again. Now, I could be a bitch on the forums, calling people idiots, or claim that they are bungie's sheep.... But I'm not going to be a bitch.
My question is, WHY you are okay with the gally ( and for the sake of having a good discussion: other one year exotics ) being left behind? For most of us, these exotics (like gally) were not easy to get. I just wonder why you guys are fine leaving them behind after countless months are grinding.
UPDATE: What I mean by calling people names, is that I could be toxic like some people are. I don't want to be that toxic person. All I wanted to have a good discussion about this.

2 RepliesYou do realize that Tyson said, "only some of them are coming forward [b]right now[/b]". Do you all have selective hearing or something? "[b]right now[/b]" does not translate to losing X, Y, or Z exotic weapon permanently in year two. So to say that we are losing them, or to use any variation of that term, makes everyone that says so, look very foolish.

Year 1 exotics for year one content, year 2 for year 2. Only scrubs use year 2 In year 1. Only scrubs want to use year 1 in year 2.

I gladly give up gally and fb and bh for better variety, and bragging rights. Also, I think everyone assumes there won't be some other op heavy in the works. Like the fusion rifle heavy. That thing looks beastly.

The game needs to move forward... However, Your "never to be upgraded again," statement may not be accurate... remember, how with HoW, all those weapons that maxed out at 300 were once again made relevant? Who knows, that may just happen again....

Yeah i was a bit dissapointed that my favourites would be obsolete in the TTK at first but im looking forward to whats new thats the whole point of new content right ? If your that concerned dont get taken king those weapons will be fine for yeah 1 content.

Because it's telling us to get over the old Exotics that we used to use. I'm pretty sure that the ones being left behind are the ones we've used the most. Honestly, I'm not happy about Gjallarhorn, but oh well. It'll still be relevant in other events, we just won't be using it as often.

Every trials match is the same, every pvp game is the same and every raid/strike is the same. Shit gets old man. The current gun meta is the problem.

Most of us run everything with the same guns over and over for the most part. I am happy to see some exotics and our old guns left behind. Time to learn something new.

I grinded got allot of my guns bit im okay leaving them behind. I'm looking forward to playing with new guns. There is no one specific reason why I'm okay with this, I just don't mind leaving then in year one.

I've been looking at this game the same way I'd look at world of warcraft. I don't personally play but i know people that do. Every expansion they get rid of the gear they have. Top tier gear essentially becomes a trophy. I'm ok with that. I'd like to move forward have my fun with what's important at the time and when is time to move forward I'll do just that. It sucks people that recently got their high tier gear aren't going to keep it for long but the trophy idea still stands.

the vex froze them in time soon that in another DLC you unlock the secrets of space time and can bring anything from the past to the present
