If only I could personally slap every person in the face who voted no. Oh well....

  • It's optional, I don't know why anyone would vote NO, unless they disliked the exchange method.

  • The exchange method is really stupid with it being optional it becomes more necessary to keep around year 1 powerhouse weapons. If it's kept why the hell would you want a ridiculously grindy method

  • Because we're talking about Destiny, aren't we? So, shouldn't ideas be kept in that realm? If the whole mechanism of this game is grinding then shouldn't we keep that in mind? I think that's the only way ideas get considered is if they keep in step with the mechanism of this game.

  • The "whole" game is not about grinding. Its grinding to the poimt you get to end game activities which is when the "enjoyable content" is at. They already released etheric light which raises weapons power for a lot cheeper curently. That system could still work if anything. Overly grindy stuff is not there forte. Look at planet mats they changed it where you could exchange marks for them to take away the tedious grinding. Which 25k glimmer 4 1 item is tedious grinding

  • You still had to grind more marks. This whole game is about grinding. Even once you get to the end game content, you grind for the gear you want, then you grind to level it, then you grind for the material to level it. It's a grind. Man, I hate the grind. But I'm not deluding myself to think this game is anything more than that. I'm just trying to work within those confines.
