WHAT THE -blam!- IS WRONG WITH BUNGIE?
So you're Iron Banner came out a week earlier than it should have, and as usual you stupid -blam!-s at Bungie don't fix the problems with it before you put something out. If you guys make so much money maybe you could hire people that will do their jobs right? I am decent at crucible and usually the kind of guy that says "Hey I won, cool" or "Awww damn I lost" and thats that. So when Iron Banner week comes around all I wanna do is get my lights and be done with it. Well not the case this week because the dumb shit people over at Bungie or Activision or who ever is pulling the programmers strings decided once again to -blam!- something up that many people find joy in.
1: So in Iron Banner levels count? So a level 15 shouldn't be able to one shot a guy with ANY weapon right? Well that is not the case. The first banner we ran today was against a team of people from 15-22 and they were killing a full team of 34s like it was nothing. Now correct me if I am wrong but at level 30 you gain a +20% armor/damage bonus per level after. So explain to me how in the -blam!- of -blam!-s a level 15 character is one shotting a level 34 character...please? I don't deny people having skill, I applaud them for that. No no no no, I am wondering why I am getting killed by them at all when they are 19 LEVELS BELOW ME.
(What I mean here is that IB is supposed to have level advantages which would make it impossible for level 15 to kill a level 34 wih out some heavy firepower, not denying player skill just wondering why the game doesn't follow the rules that Bungie set in place.)
2: What the -blam!- is going one with the 4 or 3 man fire teams against teams of 6? I mean if the Banner is match making then why is it letting people go in with half teams? Last time I checked this ain't a handicap and it damn sure ain't Trials...so what the -blam!- are you people at bungie doing?
(What I mean here is that the IB starts with just a few people on one team and doesn't match make to fill in the other half. I don't mean that we're forming a fire team of three and going in against 6, you can't do that.)
Much to my dismay I have come to realize that not everyone has the education to comprehend my posts. To those of you that can and do, I am glad the education system in america hasn't let you down, for those of you that can't...I honestly have no idea whats wrong with you. You call my posts whining but if you actually stopped to read the post you would see that I am pointing out the flaws with Bungie's updates and programming. So, in the future I will do my best to do dumb my vocabulary down to a 5th grade reading level for you and make my topics and subject matter easier to grasp.

1 Replyill speak on the Level issue. I do not do pvp in Destiny because pvp in destiny is completely broken. But levels in Destiny do not mean anything except when it comes to the player progressing. A enemy can be any level and kill us but if we are 1 or 2 levels lower then the enemy we are fighting we get our asses handed to us. This is a huge flaw in Destiny. Bungie at this point, only shows they do not know what they are doing. end.

3 RepliesSo for your first point, I played with some of my friends yesterday and we ran into a group that seemed to be made up of half 30+ and then below 30. One dude was 15. He didn't damage us once. The other two barely did damage. Imagine watching a Titan use his Fist if Havoc, thinking to yourself "oh -blam!-!", and then realizing that a fly could probably hurt you more than he did just then. And then you both just kind of stand there. Staring at each other. For about 30 seconds. Bc neither of you can believe that you're still alive and barely even hurt. And then you just kinda...switch to your shotgun. And you see him literally look at the shotgun ( he literally aimed his character down) and then back up at your face and then promptly turn around and try to sprint away. He took about a step and a half before I blew him across the room. My point is that they were either cheating or there was a glitch of some sort you're the first person I've heard of with this complaint

To be fair, they capped the level advantages for IB at around 7 levels, I think? So even if you're 8+ levels above someone, you're going to get the seven level rate.

Ib occurs every four weeks, on the Tuesday, from what I know. With this said, I agree that they need to fix some things...... such a Athens lag crap.

I dunno about your first statement but for 2. I have speculation that people are dropping out of the matchmaking last m second and the game doesn't know they are gone before the match begins then it tries to find new joiners to add in ... Or ppl quit in mid game .. I like this because I quit matchmaking until I get injected into a loosing game that's almost over - like a sub in for a quitter - that way I get my coin and rewards for 30 seconds of play time - I get 5 coins in 20 minutes instead of 2 hours then try once to win and cash in

10 RepliesThe level difference caps at 4. This is to prevent overpowered teams stomping out lower levels and decreasing chances of lower level players enjoying IB. Level difference only matters by a few points of damage though. And if a good enough team (even low level teams) plays like a team should, then they can easily stomp some high level players.

2 RepliesYes, I feel like a level 28 shouldn't be able to four shot me with last word of I'm a 34. Especially since a level 34 Vandal can one hit a level 1 Guardian, but a level 34 Guardian can't one hit a level 1 Vandal with a melee or primary. Not to mention the level 1 Vandal can actually damage a 34.

1 ReplyThe fireteam part is just people bailing before the game even starts. They'll fill the slots at the start of the match and it normally doesn't take long. The rest of it, who knows, kinda sounds like you might've been in regular control but I've got no idea.

4 RepliesTake a chill pill, relax to some orchestral music, put on your thinking cap, and let's look at your statements. Yes the servers are terrible and they will be until destiny gets dedicated servers. No, there are no ppl less than lvl 15 in iron banner. It has a minimum of level 20. You were playing regular control. It is fair to make 3 man teams and go into Iron Banner. It called getting a tactical advantage. If you wanted to, you could just as easily get 2 other amigos and kick some ass. The rest is just you being pissy.
