BUMP for thorn nerf now, NOT later in future
All those thorn users who rely on the precious thorn IE lingering damage. Yeah I use thorn sometimes its only because you get into a lobby and the whole team is using it, just can't wait to see how shit people will become when it's nerfed
Why is it everytime you join a lobby 80% of the players are using thorn
Before you start saying I'm crying or git gud, please make sure you have better crucible stats than me because most of you who are saying it can barely hold a positive KD ;)

1 ReplyThorn has always been my favourite weapon. It was my very first exotic weapon back in September 2014. Then everybody cried about it "It's the worst exotic!" - "Please buff the Thorn" and so on. So Bungie decided to increase the reload speed and add 3 more rounds to the mag. Now everybody wants it to be nerfed again. But if you remove the ability to two-shot people it would be an exotic handcannon with less power than every legendary HC, since you give up an exotic slot. A few weeks before the buff the Thorn received an "unintentional" nerf, reducing the dot to 4 instead of 7. It was a three-shot weapon and it was bad. So, how about this: NERF the dot again to 3-5, but make it so that it "refreshes" each hit. This way it has the potential to two-shot people, but ONLY if you wait 1-2 seconds after the first headshot. I think that's a fair compromise for both, the Thorn haters and the Thorn lovers.

4 Repliesstop whinning. any oneeho is good can handle a thorn. hawkmoon can easily kill a thorn user not to mention if you use any form of strategy you can win unless of course ur busy crying on the forums. ;)

3 RepliesDude it HAS to be OP. It's and EXOTIC that shoots out poisonous Thorns, made by space Ninjas powered by dinklebot dust. So LEAVE IT ALONE and play the damn GAME however you're more than welcome to move on and play a different game. I'm sure many guardians can do with less NERF callers

People just hate being outplayed that's really what this is about. I use thorn and if I go up against someone with thorn and they outgun me often times I don't get mad I just appreciate their skill. When I get mad I remind myself I'm really just mad because they outplayed me not because the gun is cheap...we are using the same gun after all

7 RepliesThey should probably just do away with the poison. There's no other weapon that has this effect and there's no good way to balance it. If they make the poison tic too small people bitch, if they make it too much the other people bitch. I vote for just doing away with it and rework the gun to have a different exotic perk. [spoiler]And I'm an avid thorn user. I'll use any advantage to get a win, and if you can't beat em join em.[/spoiler]
