BUMP for thorn nerf now, NOT later in future
All those thorn users who rely on the precious thorn IE lingering damage. Yeah I use thorn sometimes its only because you get into a lobby and the whole team is using it, just can't wait to see how shit people will become when it's nerfed
Why is it everytime you join a lobby 80% of the players are using thorn
Before you start saying I'm crying or git gud, please make sure you have better crucible stats than me because most of you who are saying it can barely hold a positive KD ;)

Bro you just gotta go/adjust with the game. Never will there be a point in time where it will be a fair fight between the hand cannon, pulse rifle, auto rifle or fusion. You just need to test the waters and change lol everyone merking with a SUROS? Grab one and join. Everyone sh*tting on you with a thorn? Grab the bounty and see what the hype is about...people two shorting you with a pulse? Wtf when did people start liking those?!?! Lol pick your favorite one from a vender and practice with it. Bungie can't please the need of every person but it also gives you a variety in the game other than have the same loadout for a whole year. Honestly I loved the legendary "Up For Anything" but now that weapon just tickles people on control. But it's given me a chance to swoop the Last Word from my vault and get my skill with HC's up. Just look at the positives bro. :)

5 RepliesI suck at crucible and never play. Got on today and did pretty well with nothing but fusion rifle (for thorn bounty) was doing better than ppl who were using thorn and TLW. So clearly it's not that overpowered

Last IB, died over and over by Thorn. Practiced a little, learned how to deal with Thorn. This IB, lots of Thorns, not so many Deaths by it. [spoiler]See where I'm going here?[/spoiler]

Just rebuff autos and give scouts more of a kick when you land consistent shots at range . You shouldn't be able to outgun a scout at mid to long range . I have a thorn and even I can see that it beats weapons at ranges it really shouldn't

Nerfing the thorn wouldnt solve the problem bungie just needs to put more effort into balancing their guns so other exotics can compete with the thorn, but yeah i agree the thorn is annoying in pvp

While I was sniping today, I saw a player crouched from the end of the map sniping with a Thorn like wtf? That's when you know HCs are absolutely outrageous.

8 RepliesThese constant threads begging for a nerf should really make Bungie take action. If a large portion of a community complains about something being [b]too[/b] overpowered then you know somethings wrong. And they can gtfo with their, "every gun has it's time" bs. All my hand cannons, auto rifles, etc are rendered useless countered with a Thorn or Last Word. But before I get the "get good" comments, I have no problem with defeating Thorn players, using various tactics I find a way around it. However, if and when it comes down to a gun fight, if I have my Ill Will, Red Hand, etc. with the best rolls, I will [b]not[/b] win that fight. Thorn has a great rate of fire, great impact, and a great burn. It's almost flawless. Every other hand cannon with the exception of The Last Word have their cons. Ill Will having slow rates and so on... My point is, Bungie stop being stupid and listen to your crucible players. The majority of the people defending Thorn are usually the ones that suck with every other gun, because literally anyone can use Thorn and get first place. And if you can't nerf it, why not balance other guns? Give Auto Rifles their buff, I genuinely had fun with them and now I have to deal with Thorns. It gets to a point where I have to stoop to their level just to counter them and use it. I use to like you, Bungie. That was one time long ago.
