BUMP for thorn nerf now, NOT later in future
All those thorn users who rely on the precious thorn IE lingering damage. Yeah I use thorn sometimes its only because you get into a lobby and the whole team is using it, just can't wait to see how shit people will become when it's nerfed
Why is it everytime you join a lobby 80% of the players are using thorn
Before you start saying I'm crying or git gud, please make sure you have better crucible stats than me because most of you who are saying it can barely hold a positive KD ;)

It's not the Thorn that is bad. I carry Thorn and do get my ass handed to me on occasion by those without one. Sorry you think a gun beat you. I know for a fact that my ass was kicked by better players and they never gave a damn that I had a Thorn! Perhaps you should spend more time improving your game and less time complaining about a gun. You would be killed less. BTW: don't rebut with stats. I can post a 30:0 KDR if I cheated also! Just improve your game! If you were any good, you would be proudly posting Thorn-user kills, not bitching the Thorn users...

I've noticed in almost every video of people playing on PN that almost all of the competition is utterly horrible anyways so Thorn could be the only reason they can get a kill. Your crucible statistics doesn't make your case 100% correct either so don't invalidate anyone else's opinion based on it. Also, as I said earlier: almost every video of Destiny PvP I see on YouTube or anywhere on PN appears like 90% of the lobbies consist of crosseyed, one handed players who couldn't hit a water if they fell out of a boat. Maybe it's just coincidence or maybe PN players suck for the most part anyways. Regardless, their statistics won't get much better and yours won't get worse so I don't know why you're complaining.

Leave the dot with no nerf. Leave the range with no nerf. It's an exotic. Just cut its rate of fire to bring it's TTK more into a .6 to .7 range.

I hope they nerf the crap out of it, and buff auto rifles. It's too big of a crutch. I used it a lot before they buffed it like 8 times, and it actually took some skill. It's the Gjallarhorn of PVP, except it's super easy to get. There is literally a 100% chance that someone if not everyone uses it in Trials. At least TLW has terrible range. Thorn with send it can literally shoot across about any map.

17 RepliesNerf Thorn and everyone will start using TLW. Nerf hand cannons and everyone will be using Red Death. Nerf HC's and Pulses and everyone will be using MIDA Multi-Tool. I suggest Bungie BUFFS weapons instead of nerfing them.

I carry with Hard Light in crucible ;) it really depends on who's holding it. I was testing out my old guns like hard light and other autos they do really good with the weapon buff perk on defender Titans.

Good luck with that. Bungie is going to do it on their schedule, and it won't be what people are expecting. Basically, Thorn and the other Exotic hand cannons will always be viable/top tier in PvP. But Suros Regime is nostalgia only (there is a hint to this design in the guns fluff text). Sometimes, Bungie seems like the worst game developer I've ever known. They always do this. Instead of looking into what the community wants, they just decide on what they want the future of the game to be, and if you don't like it, tough. That doesn't sound that ridiculous, but if you read the weekly updates, you will see what I mean. They don't talk about anything.
