I would hope such ill-educated Guardians never play again. The Skolas fight in itself is easy. The Adds? Easy to kill. A team that knows what it needs to do to win will shift focus from time to time. The problem isn't that Skolas is messy. The problem is that Guardians are rushing with intent to kill the boss as quickly as possible without worrying about the adds.

the problem is the amount of majors and the amount of them with the boss itself, let me ask you this what do guardians with out ghorn, do to beat skolas or better yet a guardian who has no exotics and very few raid weaponry? the answer is nothing go try to do VOG again without legendary gear then get back to me on balance and ill education.

Edited by XTempistX: 6/13/2015 11:34:48 PMI never use raid weapons for anything except for a burn situation on Nightfalls but not often on PoE as I have many legendary weapons that have better perks. I beat Skolas on arc and void burn without anyone on the team using a Gjallarhorn. What point are you trying to make? The only people that struggle with 35 are the same ones who struggle with 34 and 32. About 380,000 teams ever beat 35. 1,140,000 characters beat it. Tens of million people play Destiny so 10% or less players have enough skill to beat it consistently. Maybe there is a problem with the challenge but at the same time, players like me can complete it as is with little to no difficulty regularly without the use of exotics and a raid weapon equipped in every slot. The same with raids. Someone a while posted that only 19% of PS players have completed a raid at least one time. End game content isn't for everyone. Come on man... I'm on your side by the way. Just saying that this activity is not as hard as the majority of the player base make it seem.

i have completed this end game content and i like your input but what is happening time vs rewards and effort, without burn weapons your in for a long run good hour to 3 hours of work all for a chance at drops..... when comparing the amount of people who completed it how many are the same people doing it the same way multiple times, the same can be said about trials on the repeated people for the POE i just take the number of characters divided by the amount who succeeded to give it a fair number to work with 378,511/3 = 126,170. compared to the amount of players this is very low. again this is not impossible and not extremely hard but expecting the universal population of destiny to succeed in your game is a goal bungie should make. a test for this would be can i defeat skolas with auto rifles? the answer to this would more than likely be no unless by some miracle you did.

VoG is very easy in just blue gear and weapons. Yes you might die a few times but that's why there is Six of you. I just did it in all blue gear and one exotic armor to hit level 30 to run it with using Strangers Rifle,Suros shotgun, and a blue rocket launcher on hard. My hunter wasn't even maxed in the class skill either. I had the most kills at each check point except for oracles. I was even teaching others how to play smarter instead of pressing the spawn points and dying. Yes you can wear 3 blues and one exotic to hit 30. You can check my hunter because I just bought that helm last week. Still have 2 blues equipped.
