YOU CAN'T JOIN BACK IF YOU ARE BOOTED WHILE IN TRIALS!?
Seriously??? What the frick is the bullcrap! My team was 1 win away from a flawless and I get disconnected from the error code "bee" (By the way there is no solution for. It's caused by disconnects between your router and Bungie's servers.)
No big deal, right? Just join back.
Nope.
It won't allow you to join back, and I checked my passage. [b]IT COUNTED AS A LOSS, TOO[/b]. A LOSS FOR SOMETHING THAT WASN'T MY FAULT. Don't worry, my team barely managed to win 2v3. Luckily, I wasn't doing it for me and it was doing it for someone on my team. But if this ever happens again while I'm actually trying to go flawless myself, I'm going to be temped to break my disc.
Seriously bungie, you need to figure out some way to fix this glitch. Now.
Edit: Just happened again. My team lost the 2v3 this time...

1 ReplyI understand why they don't want anyone to join the team at any point since you could just have someone leave and another person join when the game is 4-x and about to win so someone can get a easy flawless. However if you were already in the match and d/c you should be able to rejoin the match. My friend has d/c'd 6-7 times in ToO so far and it makes it incredible difficult to win with 2 v 3 at all times. Isn't this event suppose to have a reconnect feature they mentioned a crap load during the twitch stream?

Not true my teammate got an error code and after he hit a on it it let him join back into the game. We were sitting on the scoreboard screen between rounds for like a minute.

Haven't been disconnected during Trials, remarkably. In fact, I've found Trials to be more stable than the other Crucible modes overall. Haven't run into more than a few dangerously lagging players. I think I may have seen one guy disconnect today, but that's it.

8 RepliesThey won't fix this glitch because then teams would "accidentally" disconnect when they knew they were going to lose. This is precisely why it will always be you get a loss if you leave or disconnect.

same here but it booted 2 of us with the same error. buddy lost that round but the 4th man in the chat heard what was goin on and he was able to join. buddy gets his 6th win and we have -blam!-ed up cards. thanks bungie you owe me an etheric light

My team was 2 away from flawless and one team member left....it was a sad day until my other teammate and I won 5 to 2; after that game the last guy joined up again and my team got flawless

Funny is they implemented a system that's supposed to help with disconnects but its not working. Honestly they should bite the buklet if peeps want to pull a router cord out to avoid a loss whatever at least legit players wont get boned

They NEED to fix this.. Not only is it a guaranteed loss for disconnecting but you also cannot join back to hopefully help your team in which is now in deep shit considering they are down a guy. Its basically a big -blam!- you from Bungie.. They need to make it where specific error codes trigger a loss. Problem is players would try and disconnect the best they could to avoid a loss though. But some error codes are flat out Bungies fault and cannot be avoided. And they absolutely NEED to fix not being able to join back after being error coded! There is no reason why it should not be allowed! The guy who gets booted already has a loss and its rediculous to think the other team mates have to suffer a very probable loss too because of it!

the reason it counts as a loss it that people would just quit when losing a game otherwise. Unfortunetly this has also happend to me twice now. i had 9 wins and 1 loss today, that loss being one of my friends getting booted.

It's mind boggling how there are rampant connection problems with today's technology, both on our and Bungie's end. I remember when games worked almost flawlessly. Those sure were the days.
