Prison Of Elders glitches and bugs
Today I completed the level 32 prison of elders. I am only level 32 and trust me it was pretty tough. However im not here to boast about completing the POE. Im here to report i glitch i discovered which made me literally smash my xbox one of the wall.
Once completing theprison of the elders. The door opens back tothe main room ( the room you first start in). You then drop to the treasure room. i dropped down the hole that opens to the treasure room and then died even though it wasnt even that high of a jump. Anyway I spawned back in the top arena and the second door did not open.
I was therefore unable to collect my rewards and open the chests due to this. I was pretty Pi*ssed of tbh. Has anyone else expierenced this problem?. or any other problem for that matter? Not pleased tbh. I spent at least an hour trying to complete it. All for nothing. Not to mention the million times i got kicked out for connection / server issues.

I have been trying to up light my titan and have been grinding in the prison of Elders with the April changes and I have died a couple of times trying to get to the treasure room no matter how careful I am being, still died twice out of five grinds through. It then puts me in a locked airlock and does not allow me to go in to the entrance of the treasure room. This really is a dick move that this is this way. I know some people live this game but I have very little person time and doing this dying before the treasure room and then locking them in an airlock has to be on purpose. I just don't get why they do this to there players.

Well from may 20th and still not fixed. Looks like bungie is going to let destiny be a big joke like lagrim(skyrim)

1 ReplyIt's a Jumping puzzle, just like the giant drop or spirit bloom chest path in VoG after Templar (albeit not a very engaging or worthwhile one). Play the ENTIRE encounter, not just the killing enemies part.

As long as your fireteam doesn't open. The chest you can kill yourself. May take a few times but it works. Hope you get it next time guardian.

This happened to me after completing 35 PoE, I literally just sat in a corner crying for the rest of my life, cos i had spent 2 hours on it, and i couldn't get rewards

Just happened to me right -blam!-ing now. I died in boss room in lvl 32 PoE and my scumbag teammates didn't revive me, and I couldn't revive at all and they opened chests and ended game.

I disagree. There is nothing worse than spending hours trying to beat level 34/35 to then drop and die and not be able to get the chest. Stupid. I will be jumping slowly and one at a time from now on. Trust me.

A couple of my friends and I just spent hours trying to beat Skolas with no bubbles or fast kill shit like the previous Gjallarhorn strategy. It was two warlocks and a hunter with Fang, Arc Shotguns, and a couple Thunderlords and a Gjally to take out adds. After hours of trying and finally working it out, we finally beat him in a 30 minute fight only for a bunch of shanks and vandals to spawn AFTER he had died and wreck my friend and I instantly with no time to react. My other friend ran into the airlock to avoid the sudden swarm of fallen and it locked on him so my dead friend and I were trapped in the arena and only he could claim the rewards. We did not spend 4 hours fighting his ass only to get screwed out of the gold chest. Some BS. Bungie, get on this!

Idk if that's a glitch or not, but you can never be too safe when jumping down pits like that. When they make them high up enough for you to die on impact, I'm going to assume it's not a glitch. Maybe they feel if you aren't capable of getting to the bottom without dying after all of that work, you don't deserve the rewards? Idk. But I'd suggest getting better at jumping like you're going down the holes in VoG. Good luck.

For a real glitch the enemies teleport around alot which is annoying. Only vex and captains should be doing this not laggy cabal.
