Necrochasm=Best AR atm
Necrochasm is the current fastest killing auto rifle in crucible. (With max impact build) Using body hits only it kills in 0.03 seconds faster than bad juju using headshots only, and bad juju is considered a great PvP choice. It kills faster than ANY auto rifle, with a headshot kill potential at only 0.83 seconds, this weapon deserves some more credit.

Lmao not. I used that pos i trials got 14 dmg to the head. Then i went to the khostov in the same match it did 12dmg to the head. Nechro is a novelty weapon

I got mine recently and have been using it in Crucible and I can still get to the top of the scoreboard most of the time. You just need to learn how to control the recoil and position yourself smartly. It's really a decent choice if used properly, but many people don't use the high rate of fire and low impact archetype so they can't control it as well.

I like using Necrochasm to run bounties, the Cursed thrall explosion on Vex and Cabal is wicked But I wouldn't use it in Nightfall or Raids, or Iron Banner -
2 RepliesIts shot spread and general lack of range means that the average actual TTK is much higher than its potential TTK. You won't be doing well with the gun at all unless you're pretty close to the opponent, and there are many more weapons that are more effective at that range.

I have a necro and a abyss. I prefer the abyss overall. Necro is fun for only certain places.

I don't have a necrochasm, but the only auto rifle I use right now is the abyss defiant.

I'm a terrible pvp guy below 1.0 and the two people I saw using necro were never able to kill me and I wrecked them with vex. The best player in those two rounds used TLW and at the Necrochasm for breakfast. The end result is the Necrochasm users finished last in rumble with maybe 2 kills and I bet from melee. Highest guy had 20+ and I had 10. Bottom line: Necrochasm has to be point blank range and the person not moving.

The TTK is not the problem, the lack of accuracy and wide spread of bullets is what makes the gun underperform.

Edited by Are You Okay: 5/13/2015 6:16:47 PMIt's very decent at close range. Can even outgun a Thorn in very close CQC. But at any real range it's terrible. Torn down by a pulse or HC. At close range people use shotguns and fusions which are better. So it really has no place where it is the best option.
