Legitimately, why did you dislike halo 4? I think what it boiled down to me was it's very lackluster multiplayer. It was just reach with custom classes, each iteration of halo up until 4 had a very different multiplayer. Which ironically, is why I think I might like 5 because of how crazy fast and agile you are.

 •
The biggest problem for me is their artistic design really. Everything is too shiny and polished and colorful. I LOVED ODST and Reach for their use of cool color pallets and gritty/dirty designs, but halo 4 and 5 have a very warm color pallets and clean designs. Another thing I dislike is the increase of pace in multiplayer. The game plays so much faster now. Halo 5 specific: the new rocket launcher. The halo rocket launcher was a staple of the franchise and they dumped it. Same goes for the shotty in Halo 4. The character development is poor too. Sarah Palmer in halo 4 has her femininity overly emphasized in my opinion. This is especially true of when you first meet her. She's the only one with a helmet off, and you never get to she her actually do anything until you play Spartan Ops, until then she literally exists to be a female spartan that's in charge which I feel is cliche. I would have preferred if she was introduced as this badass super soldier who is then revealed to be a women and a rival to the MC. She could also be playable as a co-op character as she literally does nothing the rest of the campaign. They could have done so much more with a lot of the characters. They just make peoples character traits too blatant and in your face for me to enjoy. Everyone seems to have a loudmouth and there's just so much talking without any sort of.. Suspense or interesting dialogue? Palmer on Infinity Del Rio on whatever the mission with the elephant is called Literally everything Roland says Also I didn't really enjoy that some Spartans just sit back and order other Spartans what to do. I felt like the rest of the franchise built on the idea that Spartans lead from the front, not over a radio. I also didn't really find the in game dialogue to be that interesting. I mean in Halo 1-3 the marines actually said some funny things. In Halo 4 all you hear is "Tangos inbound" "I'm hit" "way to go spartan" "I knew he was still alive". I found the game as a whole to be underwhelming and subpar to the standards that had been set by it's predecessors.
This is a copy/paste of what I said in a different thread

 • It definitely felt like more like COD games. Especially the multiple player. and the new promethium enemies were just dumb.
