Tips/Advice for First Crota Raid?
This Friday I'll be doing the Crota Raid for the first time as I just bought the Season Pass last night. Anyone have any tips or advice for my first time? Any help/advice will be appreciated! And also anyone who wants to join my fireteam just let me know. The first four to respond I will invite along for the ride (yes a friend of mine has a reserved spot as he's helped me ever since I first got Destiny back in the middle of March).

1 ReplyFirst and foremost have fun. For a short and buggy raid with the right group you can ha e a good time in it. Explore and experiment with different class set ups to see what works best with you and how you can be more of a team player. Listen to the experienced players in the raid!! That is the most important step, alot of cherries don't like to listen and ask questions and they make the raid more difficult than it actually is. Good luck and enjoy

1 ReplyI...wouldn't run CE normal until you're at least 30. The enemies at the end are 32, you can't even damage them at 28. The Abyss starts at 30 so you'd be geting one-shotted a lot... Unless you just have high level friends willing to carry you, which is cool if so.

1 ReplyFor starters being at least level 30 will benefit you greatly. At 28 you won't be doing any damage to the level 32 enemies.

The enemies start off at 30 but turn to level 32 farther into the raid and will one shot you while you barely tickle them as a 28. Hopefully you can get an armour drop since they start at 30 light and will help boost you up quickly. The Vision will serve you well but try to find a better rocket if you can. If you have any good weapons that increase agility try to use those in the beginning section.
