All shotguns are capable of one-shotting within a reasonable distance.
Felwinter's Lie does not have a special advantage that other shotguns don't.
No shotgun needs a nerf.
The problem is the absolutely terrible map design.

BUMP. The maps are what do it. Unless your playing combined arms you can easily use a shotgun in almost every situation

Edited by Afawafa: 5/6/2015 8:59:09 AMIt does have an advantage. Its base range is the highest out of the legendary and exotic shotguns and it also has the highest impact as well. While the range can be matched by other shotguns with appropriate perks as there seems to be a range cap, the impact allows Felwinter's pellets to still deal fatal damage even when a large portion of damage is lost to range falloff. Hence, it boasts the longest OHK range in the game. Of course it's also rerollable. Spending 2 motes of light for a chance at ridiculous perks is far more efficient than attempting to get such perks through NF or packages. So, Felwinters has a significantly higher chance of attaining monstrous perks.

Edited by Gideon VI: 5/6/2015 10:27:36 AMAll shotguns have a maximum range of 35, Felwinter's Lie reaches that cap more easily than other shotguns. I do agree with you, but boo--blam!-ing-hoo, the Felwinter's Lie has high impact. 'Why does a shotgun that's described as a cannon have such high impact?' . It has the lowest stability and lowest RoF to balance it out. Again, blame the terrible map design putting unnecessary pillars everywhere.
