Farming Ascendant materials? Is this week 2 of the game's release?

It's about week 4 for me. But I was not able to find anything as specific as my question online. All that I get when I search is to do Events, but nothing more specific or about getting specific types of mats from certain events, or in locations. Granted, this could be because it doesnt really matter and the RNG gods just hate me... but I wanted to ask and make sure anyways.

Daily heroics. Level 30. 2 ascendents right there. Honestly most will come naturally.
