MZTER is correct, you will only get one drop on deathsinger just like a chest.

Ok, cool. I thought I was being robbed for a second.

Nah, they originally had the first chest at the lanterns drop exotics, but people were jus dropping in and getting exotics for nothing. So the changed the chest to upgrade material and moved the exotic part of the chest to the deathsinger. Originally the deathsinger was not even a drop!!! Now that's getting robbed : P
